Negative Armor Offhand?

Hey all,

I'm sure I've seen these focii out there that have -10 or maybe even -20 armor. I'm looking to see if yes they exist and if they're just random drops (couldn't find any on wiki from collectors). If anyone knows any more info on these could you please let me know?

There is no -10 or -20 armor modifier for a focus. So no random drops will give you this mod.

Ahh too bad, I must have been thinking of the -20 health offhand. Have to just go with a FFS or similar then. Thanks.

You can get a -10 armour while attacking axe or sword, however.

am i missing something...why would u want a minus armor item ??? weapon i can understand (maybe) but why would u want anything else?

These items do in fact exist. I found one today while on a Tombs run but didn't think to keep it. It was purple with the usual +10-12 energy (sorry, can't remember exactly) and the 'inscription,' so to speak, was +5 energy/-5 armor. As for -20 or even -10, I can't recall ever seeing one...but the -5 is definitely real.

There's no need really, just buy the Shing Jea armour or take off your chest piece. ;/

I agree with Jade. I've seen these Items too, but I never wanted to keep them for the obvious minus of crucial stat.

Yea I've always seen a lot of purple sides drop with that stat (+5 armor/-5 energy), I just sell them straight to the merchant.

You've got these mods backwards. It's +5 armor and -5 energy. There is no +5 energy mod on a focus.

This is a good possibility...like I said, the focus was sold immediately to the merchant. I suppose that on this occasion, my memory wasn't too reliable. Thanks for the correction.

um I get -5 armor quite often... I don't know what the hell you all are talking about.

The -5 armor mod is not on the list of possible modifiers for focii on guildwiki. That's what I'm basing my premise that it doesn't exist on. I haven't seen one either on my thousands of drops but that's just a small sample size.
