I wanted to cap Lingering Curse, so I made this build up to see if it would work. It sure works, and boy does it work well!
Class: Necromancer / Mesmer
Attributes:
Illusion Magic: 12
Death Magic: 12 + 1 + 3
Skills:
Arcane Echo
Life Transfer {E}
Life Siphon
Images of Remorse
Vampiric Gaze
Dark Pact
Barbed Signet
Illusion of Haste
Directions:
Enter Arborstone from Altrumm Ruins. Past the Shrine, run left up the ramp. You shouldn't aggro the group on your right, if you do for some odd reason, just resign. It's easier to start over than deal with that.
The first group of enemies in the hallway is simple. Get close enough to Life Transfer whoever your Target Nearest picks up. When they start rushing you, try to run past them. After you get knocked down, Illusion of Haste then run through the rest of them. If you get crippled by a Snare trap, Illusion of Haste again, and continue to run until they drop aggro.
At this point, you will be at Craw Stonereaper.
If he isn't close enough to aggro through the wall, go into the room where he is, and cast Arcane Echo. You don't have to wait for full energy regen if you don't want to.
Cast Life Transfer then run out of that room and seperate yourself and Craw using the wall as a blockade.
Cast Life Siphon, Images of Remorse, Dark Pact, Vampiric Gaze, and Barbed Signet in that order. After that, it's just a degen waiting game.
When you see your HP Regen pips drop off, cast your echoed Life Transfer.
Keep Life Siphon on him, Barbed Signet / Dark Pact at will. Images of Remorse if you're feeling impatient.
You should finish this fight with 90 - 100% hp, easily.
The key to this fight, to make it as easy as possible is to keep yourself and Craw seperated by the wall.
Enjoy

i still like the simple "scourge healing" build, but this build is a refresing new look on it. Too bad i can't try it out

Just use SS/price of failure/spirit of failure/reckless haste and hide behind the wall.
Somebody awhile back posted this build, can kill zarnas and stoneweaver at the same time too.

I run a Me/N build to take out the three bosses in that area. I believe I got it from somewhere on these forums, but I'm not sure, so don't flame me if you've seen it before.
Backfire
Diversion
Ether Feast (hardly used and replacable skill)
Wastrel's Worry
Shatter Enchantment
Grenth's Balance {E}
Spirit of Failure
16 Domination
10 Inspiration
the rest in Fast Cast
Diversion is really only for the monk boss and the Ele boss can be taken down with nothing more than Backfire and Shatter Enchant as a finisher as long as you wait for him to use Gale before casting.
Basically hide behind a wall, cast away and everything else should be gravy.

I tried fighting Zarnas with this build, it took forever to kill him but I ended up downing him (after about 10 minutes). He dropped the Ele wand, which was awesome but I already have it...so it's just sitting in storage now.
I wasn't able to kill the Monk though. Oh well, his staff sucks. I'm not gonna go back and re-attempt to kill them all since I really just wanted to cap the Necro skill. I did, so i'm done.
