After i had given up all hope of meeting a nice person outside my guild.. i was blessed just now in droks..
i was in droks bored with Stevie (the man) Raynger, who is a buddy in my guild
when i ran accross a person giving away a rotwing bow to the person that gives the best story to him..
i gave him my story.. i will not say it here for a belive it would be disrespectfull to him..
he then upon hearing i was a firefighter.. gave me the bow.. then some other things..
The items he gave are not why im calling this person nice.. this person was the first random person i have met in a long time that sounded genuinly nice..
then he said he was done playing this game for the most part..
so we have lost a guinuinly good member of the gw comunity..
x silver arrows x.. thanks for your generosity.. and just so you know.. for just the conversation i would have hung out with ya.
thanks for being cool and have fun kickin butt in madden
If anyone has any good people that they would like to recomend here.. im sure the mods would not mind. because this is apreciation and not flaming.
Nice people are always around.

Sad to see good people leave doh, and nice that you want to thank him,
but remember not everybody wants there names being used. It could lead to unwanted pm's to that person, ... , and much more (some greedy people for ex. could start pm that player for items and the ignorelist is limited). Even intended right (and I don't doubt you what so ever), it always could be turned bad.
So if you want to use names in positive post plz ask if that person would welcome this, if not respect that too.
Kudos mate

I won't post the person's name, but I came across a nice person. I was in Lions Arch and someone announced that the first person to open the trade window with her gets a free seige turtle minipet. And no inviting to see where she is. I wasn't sure if it was for real but I figure the person was hiding so of course I went to that lighthouse way off to the side from the town. And there she was. I opened trade and got a free seige turtle.
We had a nice conversation too.

I was in desprate need to get to droks about two nights ago, and had all but givin up hope when a single warrior was ofering to run to droks, not as a test run, no. But as a donation run. I was shocked to say the least to see someone actually still did that. So he ran me up to droks, didn't even open a trade window to demand money, no. He instead told me he was running to the granite citadel and asked if i'd like to come along, i told him i'd love to, after a pretty fun journey (he was a funny guy, so was the monk along with him) we arrived at the citadel, still no trade window opened, i was thinking about just leaving it, btut i couldn't so i gave the guy my last 2k as apreciation for a fun run, especialy that late at night, about 4 am ish on the european servers.
Would have given him more if i had it :'(.

Well....I am rank one atm, so its hard for me to find a guild.
But yesterday I was in a standard PUG, when I told that I was looking for one.
So this guy whispers me saying that his guild is actually r3+, but if I play well he'll let me in.
Yesterday was the first day ever I was in a good guild ^^
Thank you!

There are a lot of good people in the game, even though at times it doesn't seem like it. I've come across my fair share of nice people; although I've come across a few I'd dearly love to pummel some sense into too, but who am I to judge? Someone might just be having a bad day that day and is usually a pretty decent person. Goodness knows we all have those horrid days, right? Does this excuse those players that are always biting someone's head off because they feel they have the right? No, not at all, but I try to give everyone the benefit of trying to get to know them before I judge personality. I don't beleive in labeling people. It's one reason I get so very irked when I see someone shoot 'noob' (or any variation of spelling there of) at someone. Plain and simple: labeling is wrong. You're entitled to you opinion, but unless its a nice one, keep it to yourself.
Anyway, I found that the less you actually LOOK for the nice people, the more you will find.

Double team droks run for free. They were running a guildie, and halfway to droks the guildie err7'd - MOST would have said they had to go back for pickup or said screw it, but these guys finished out the run. I tried to pay them (as I did have the cash) but they refused profusely! I had been trying to get a run for 3hrs and most either couldn't make it or because they couldn't get enough people they wouldn't go, leaving me stranded! I had almost given up hope when these guys came along.
Red and I met a husband and wife duo that would bounce the districts of Ascalon giving our free things as well as gold, sometimes if the price was high enough they would make a game out of it and tell people that whoever could find them without adding them to thier party list would recieve the reward, then they would choose a random district and sit and wait.
A guy in LA was spouting off about WoW and how GW sucked and so forth and that he was leaving the game. He seemed upset to me, so I PMed him and we talked for about 30mins. In all honest he was a really nice guy, he just had troubles with the game and the people in it. I offered my services but he said no, he was going back to WoW where all of his friends were and then gave me a 15^50 gold spiked axe and thanked me for the talk and being so nice to him. I told him that if he ever decided to come back, to let me know and we would play together.
I've met a TON of nice people, the best being those in my guild but for sure there have been a ton of others. Ya just never know what is on the other side of that monitor till you talk to the person.
