It was originally the CE + Pre-release box (free) but I ordered the same day the pre-release box was removed from the web site completely and been getting the "part of your order can't be shipped / out of stock / wait for more" message every so often. I doubt I will get the pre-release kit but already bought one expecting it.
Side Note: I got the EBgames you can pick you your game that you pre-ordered phone call... long after I canceled the pre-order with them and diverted all the money to pick up another game.

called frys today.....no luck, will try again tomorrow........................seems I have done the same mistake twice, last time it was preordering- this time it was not. I guess I am just not meant to have this dang game in a reasonable time frame from when it goes live........my bad luck is showing again.

My Standard Edition + Preorder Pack turned up this morning from Amazon.co.uk. Ordered just a few days ago and they shipped last night, so I'm pleasantly surprised to have it before Friday. 
Having previously got the CE's, I wasn't sure what to expect of the SE, but it's actually very nicely presented. A chunky case, in a slip cover and, thankfully, the game's on 1 DVD (like the CE), not the 3 CD's I've seen mentioned here. Perhaps a UK thing?
In all, the SE+Preorder cost me less than £17 from Amazon, thanks to a £3 voucher they gave me for a survey a couple of months back - so I can't say I regret choosing it over the CE, this time!

However, I think I got a better deal. I ordered it a week ago and it came with a FREE Pre release bonus pack.
GWN = £15.31 + VAT
PBP = £21.27 + VAT
1st Class shipping, VAT, less PBP for free = £17.70 (or $33.34 USD)

Just called the EBGames that I have my CE order with and they are expecting it to be in today. UPS just hasn't delivered to them yet. Mgr said it would be in no later than 3pm and I could pick it up when it gets there.

Got my copy of Night Fall Collectors Edition from EB Games in Duluth GA yesterday on the way home from work. They told me that it was the only copy of the CE that was not spoken for by someone with a full paid preorder. I snatched it up right away.
