An African Themed Event for NF

Im seriously throwing this out there.

Maybe some cool african waepons... ie spears and bows
Animal Hunting / New Pets... ie lions or buck or buffalos
African beaded Headgear...
Oh yeah and traditional beers/alcahol... wooohooooo

uhm, why make an event featuring things that already will be in the game?

I mean spears, bows, headgear in african style..
New pets will be featured (mini hippo is confirmed) And I bet my gold crystalline sword for the fact that there will be more african oriented pets to be charmed..

I'm guessing you mean a Dragon Festival type thing for Nightfall right? I have no idea how it would work but it doesnt seem like a bad idea. Only thing is that when NF is released the Halloween event should be going on.

Well maybe Nightfall can have Valentines Day.

I agree...I think nightfall would of been better off without the african theme...the storyline seemed decent, just seems wack that it would involve the african theme

wild animal hunt baby... bring in the limited spears! and a similar thing to the dragon mask will be a.... Voodo Tribe Mask that covers face and chest.

How about a politically incorrect hunting event? I'm sure PETA and the WWF will have a stroke watching rangers go after poor itty bitty animals. I'm being serious though, if there is an event, one minigame should involve hunting of animals. Or maybe a safari style run past dangerous animals.

ill FRAP that shit and give put it on the PETA site and tell them the game is WoW... jk.

I don't agree with you on that one.. I've been to africa recently, saw the sights, felt the atmosphere.. and from what I have seen in the preview event, they really captured the mood from there really good
The theme is really alive and danger may be lurking everywhere even though it looks peacefull..

I say the theme rocks, period..

I like the african theme so far, anybody want to explain their dislike of it? I think its beautiful, a lot of the architecture, statues, landscape i've seen in screenshots are great.

Also i think we can probably count on there being one new festival per chapter. Just seems like thats what they're going for anyway.

Explain why you don't like the Africa Theme?

Everyone got the European and Ninja Asian themed chapters, I say moving to Africa theme is orginal and great idea.

I bet my account that they'll do something for Halloween. Never fear!
..Then again, I haven't heard much about it. But I'm always optimistic.

Incorporating African elements into the Hallowe'en weekend would be amazing. Most mummies come from there after all and there are some really frightning African fairy stories too ^^

Yeah the African theme of the game is great idea... I think it fits MMPORG style game perfectly!

And that’s the only reason I would suggest an African event... because NF has an African feel. I’m sure they do something similar to the "KILL AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TOWNS" in Factions! It would just fit in nicely.

Think of the quests… “Help me feed the Tribe” :P
