now we know that anet has made some decisions that we dont particuarly like, and some bad swings with the nerf bat,but anet is still a good group of guys, and they have done many good things too. the biggest thing of all that anet has done good is NO MONTLY FEE!!

pending this thread i decided to make this. http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...50#post2112350
so lets all sing our names on the "ty for no montly fee anet- keep it this way" thread

We're thanking them on the virtue of "No Monthly Fee?" Isn't it a bit late for that?

We are thanking them by continuing to buy their expansions. So save this topic for one week.

I've been told its "balanceing" and not "nerfing". It's only nerfing if you happened to have something that the dev team went "oh crap" about (i. e. knight's boots, malfie's wand.) Balance is making Lt. helm accassable to pvp toons.

Nerfing is a form of balancing. If they never nerfed anything they'd have to buff every other non overpowered skill, which is a difficult task and one which is prone to overbuffing and this cycle goes on ad nauseum. Better to nerf the offending skill. They could generally do more buffing and nerfing though. Lots of bad skills out there.

I tend to agree that our monetary support is quite important. But a personal gesture is not lost on its recipient either.
