Halloween and Wintersday '06 in Lions?

what do you guys think, will The One and Only Capital of Guild Wars - Lion's Arch - be redecorated for this year's holiday events? I sure hope so, because if not, Guild Wars will lose a lot of loyal players. no town in Cantha (yuck) can even compare to Lion's or any other town in Tyria. and yet it seems that the most recent expansion gets most love from the devs...

it would be nice, LA must be one of my most favourite places in GW..

Personally I prefer the sunny beaches of Fisherman's, one of the most private areas in Tyria.

They've already written the code to decorate Ascalon, LA, and Drok's for Halloween and Wintersday. It should be real easy to put it back for this year, I can't imagine that they wouldn't. Don't know whether they'll add any new decorations to these cities, or whether they'll decorate any new cities.

I'd LOVE to see HzH done up for Wintersday.

As long as there's a decayed orr emblem collector, it won't matter to me where they take place. At the time of this post, I have almost 3,500 emblems. =)

Hmm, this is a REAL tough one..

Nightfall launches on 27 OCT
So unless any event for halloween also takes place on the starter island for those ppl playing in Elona, the majority wont see it.

The number of ppl in Cantha at this time.. Only Anet would know, but its still a sure thing that most would want cool stuff for their Cantha characters

Tyria, obviously, I agree LA and Droks should get the holiday treatments

But... How this is all going to be managed? Lord knows!

Dragonfest was very Cantha based
Halloween (the best event ever by far IMO) was only in Prophecies

I would hope that all the players in all three campaigns could participate personally

I farm undead all the time anyway so one day, I just started saving them. And even if both events end up not using them, each stack sells to the merchant for 3K.

It'd be a waste of art if they didn't decorate Lion's Arch and Droks, and just used the Halloween event as an incentive to buy Nightfall if it moved to Elona.

they will redecorate, and didnt they mention awhile back that halloween +winters day = only tyria? maybe not

regardless what may be, it should be = people who have a pumpkin crown already better not get shafted 2nd visit....

They upgraded event and keep it in same area.

Hey as long as i have access to it i'm fins. and seeing as i got all three campaigns, well will have all three i'm fine. although LA is the place to be for every holiday

yeah, halloween!!! I thought that they could easily reuse the code (why not its already been written, use it for all its worth)....and in LA that will make hundreds of gwp people happy (and the rest of us as well).....nice that they dont forget what and where they started.

LA's huuuuge Halloween party was my best gaming experience ever! Huge parades with people running, effects everywere, farming and trading for halloween items... Wintersday wasn't to good thoug... Nothing fun.
