He'll take your pet for you, and if it's level 20 you'll get some gold for it.

If so, the tamer is next to Ranger Nente who gave you the skill Charm Animal. His name is Jarrel the Tamer. Don't worry, your pet gets to go live on a preserve somewhere where they can chase rabbits and climb trees!
