They need to make more fun games or i should say make a fun game. Sitting in one spot is not really fun.
There was this one game on the super nintendo called mystical ninja. It had a place you could get and play lots of games.

I wanted to start a thread like this too. I wanted to point out a problem with the Lucky/Unlucky titles. Even if you were standing on the 4x4 field, it would take "only" 60 days (1444 hours) to get 1 Million tickets, but 100 days to get the 500000 lost games. Untill rank 4 of each rank it is possible to get Both titles in almost the same amount of days (5000 / 50000; 10000 / 100000; 25000 / 250000; 50000 / 500000) but then (if that is correct) you have 500000 lost games / 1000000 Tickets won.
I think Anet should implement some more games of chance, and those should have a higher miss rate, maybe a lottery or a game where the winning chance is down to 1/20 or something like that.

What they really should do, is make some sort of chance game permanent. These games are money sinks.. why not let them function as such. As you point out it takes a significant amount of time and money to get the Golden and especially the Hated title. But then there are hardly any times where you can play a chance game.

9 rings and rings of fortune are the exact same game with no variety in options. a more clever, and intricate chance game would be nice.

What I find funny about the ring games is you can't really win tickets.

GuildWiki NOW says that you'll only need 100000 lost games for Hated. That would be cool, since now it would be possible to get both titles in the same time. (If Golden and Hated are MAX, though nobody can tell at the moment)

It would be nice if they added a few more games, to make the boardwalk more of a boardwalk instead of just 3 games. But I wouldn't want them made permanent.
Once these are made permanent(instead of just quarterly/annually as festivals) then less people will stick around them once they have the titles. Right now Anet can simply use them as a weekend whenever they want to siphon cash out of the economy,but only because the titles are still a novelty. Once they lose that novelty value, the amount of money they can siphon out of the economy will steadily drop. Then they lose their value as gold sinks.
But thats just my two cents.
