Searing Flames' main use is the insanely short recharge and casting time. And with the newly buffed Glyph of Lesser Energy, doing that is FREE every 30 seconds.

In PVE it's godly. If the description reads right, it's not even elemental damage, which makes it THE nuke for high-end play. Combine with the newly-buffed Mark of Rodgort and nukers finally don't get shafted by level 28 armor levels.

Mind Blast is a weird combination of energy management and spammable damage. Some ppl actually consider this overpowered, but IMO it's quite mediocre.
It's actually quite good energy gain at high fire magic levels, the main advantage is that it's not an enchantment, especially one that won't blow you up if it gets removed early. | |
