Another "edge of map trick/glitch"; just head for the big dark spot and suddenly you're off the map. You need about 1:30 seconds of time from the gate the Char poor out of to make it there. I got about .1% more map for just the area past the dark circle but I figure you could get a least another .2% or so if you go the other way and have enough time.

Thanks! It is also possible to get the full map explored without getting to that edge.

Yep, I was just trying to get the Char staging area right before there and was huging the wall...I had like 2 minutes...and pop I was suddenly floating in darkness and figured lets see where it goes. Up until that point I wasn't planning on using any trick to get either Cartography title unless I get stuck at 99.8% or so.

Manic, use any and all tricks to get the 100% title, don't wait

I also found that by accident when I was there, didn't think much of it though. Thought that was just the norm as that is how you get a few places on the map

I'm guessing the devs didn't expect someone to run back over that far, what with a charr army in pursuit and a timer on the mission. Good luck finding all the other spots where you can run to the edges of the map.

^ It's funny, I ran back there because I thought that part was neccesary for the title and the char all but ignore you when you are exploring.
