Up till now, all Anet has been releasing is new stand alone chapters, but maybe sometime between now and chapter 5 they can do an expansion pack. To add in some things people would like to have, maybe in a value bundle so we aren't paying 10 bucks for this, 10 bucks for that.

Here are some things that it could include:
1-2 extra PC slots
2-3 new armor sets for all classes
5-10 new weapon skins for each type
More skills for each class (maybe give the classes new skill lines instead of skills in existing lines, kung fu monks, pole arm warriors, etc)
NPC hair stylist for guilds
NPC weapon crafter for guilds who actually crafts weapons, he would be able to craft any common weapon (short sword, long sword, katana, old air staff skin, etc) or offhand.
NPC Armor crafter for guilds (can make any normal armor with any bonus)
NPC Elite Armor Crafter for guilds (can make any non-obsidean armor with any bonus)
NPC Elite skill trainer (he only trains RP characters unlocked elite skills)
More heroes and heroes for every campaign (maybe all the henchies from prevous campains will have quests so you can make them henchmen)
An NPC in cities that will allow you to upgrade the difficulty of monsters in the area for a price or as part of an optional quest (these monsters would have better gold and item drops and more exp and allow you to farm in your favorite areas instead)

Since it's an expansion maybe it could also have some new quests and missions for every chapter... For example if you've finished the ring of fire, a new quest or 3 opens up in ascalon and maybe some new missions open up to drive back the charr. In cantha, maybe you have to go back to the city and clear out the remaining afflicted and let their spirits rest in peace.

Also there could be some new towns you can teleport to for quests in some of the previously unexplorable areas.

Kinda like Sorrows Furnace? Probably would only be released through the store.

No, this would provide bonus's for people with money. Anet said they wouldnt give people advantages like this in game. Im against this in anyway. Simply because i think it will cause unfair advantages and stuff like stylist npcs should be something implemented into the main game anyways

What I would REALLY like, is if these "expansions" started unlocking the rest of the map in the continents. For example, one expansion could use all of the unused map area in Ascalon, from the southern edge of the Searing to the northern edge of the map. They could fill it in with a short storyline, such as a campaign against the Charr to the north, or such. Get some closure on AScalon.

They could make one of these to unlock all the unused area in each part of the game. I would pay to unlock all that map area in Kryta that isn't used, such as north of the Giant's Basin. The storyline there could focus on the rumored enemies that live north of the Basin that attacked Kryta a long time ago.

Crystal Desert could be about Orr in some way, Maguuma about the Druids, Shiverpeaks about the war, etc. etc.

Then once all of Tyria was unlocked, they could move on to Cantha. Unlock all those mountains and forests we can't get to.

Unrealistic? Yeah. Cool? Pretty much.

This doesn't sound to bad and it would be nice to go to Drascir hopefully by this time Ascalon will have recovered mostly from the searing. This is all dependant on one thing and that is when exactly does GW 2 start if it starts after Nightfacll then yes I agree with more expansion packs for chapter 1 to 3 if players choose to play in that part of the game.

Exactly what I have been explaining to people. Why can't there be expansions the expand the already made continents, that fill up the gaps. Definately something to add, and a reason to go back to the old games instead of them becoming old and crusty.

I agree, I just got factions a few weeks ago and nightfall is ALREADY coming out. It's kinda hard for me to keep up with the new chapters, if they added expansions it would just be harder.

That would be nice, but only if we didn't have to pay for it (like sorrows furnace) or it was like a $1 for ascalon, $1 for kryta, ect so like $5 in all. Now if it was more than just new areas to explore, say like tieing up lose ends in ascalon (did ascalon beat the charr? What happened after the king was exiled) or having new, mini-stories for places like magumma jungle, then I'd pay a lot for it. Maybe not as much as I would for a new chapter, but close.

And for the heros, I would really prefer that they are just brought in for free (like sorrows furnace), they definitly could be put in with the new areas as an expansion pack. I would love to have menhlo (even though I hate him and he is really anoying), devona, cynn and the other main npc's of prophecies, along with the main npc's of factions avalible in these expansion packs.

As for things like the npc's, new armors, and such, I wouldn't pay for them, unless they were less then 20cents.

Anything that can be traded to players (like weapons with new skins) I wouldn't buy, ever. If I wanted those, I'd buy them for in game money from other players.

Now if they made things like the weapons just like how the preorder weapons are, where they are customized for your characters, and you can delete them and get them back as much as you want, then I'd consider it.

I've just thought of a new idea for the expansion pack:

Let character creation garphic options span campaigns if you have more than one chapter. For example I want to make a tyrian Warrior because I like one of their faces the best, but I want to use a canthan hairstyle or maybe a nightfall color. Or maybe I want to make a really dark skinned ritualist who looks like he's from Elbonia.

Another idea would be a universal character creation area so I can create a ritualist or paragon but start him off in tyria or create a dervish and start him off in cantha. It doesn't have to be a universal area though if that's too tough... maybe a trainer that can teach you "foriegn" skills.
