-5 energy....

Why do casters want -5 energy items? i thought they always wanted as much energy as possible to cast more spells, skills, etc.

Can anyone tell me why everybody wants -5 energy items?

Because mesmers and others can only steal your energy down to 0. If you have a negative energy weapon, you can "hide" energy by wielding it, and switching to other weapons to cast, which will free up the "hidden" energy pool.

Wrong.

He's confusing Migraine with Wither/Malaise which will end.

Also good to switch with ether prodigy to avoid taking damage at its end.

ALOT of energy isn't wanted, a maintainable flow of energy is.

A Monk for example will probably always be bouncing around 5-15 energy left in pvp battles, but he is fine as long as he manages well.

A -5 helps this when you are getting pounded with spells liek the others mentioned. Make them waste up their Energy Surge/Burn while this is on, then pop your normal one on to get that energy right back
