can I combine Gargash's recurve bow with a bow grip of enchanting?

I believe the Gargash part is a 'prefix' and the grip a 'suffix' so according to Guildwiki they combine. But having spent a fair bit on the bow I don't want to ruin it!

Lol, the item is unique (a.k.a green) so it cannot be modified. Each unique item has a unique name, usually named after who drops it. Gargash is just the guy who drops it. It is not a mod.
