Hey all,

Just wondering, while under the effects of Ale, Rice Wine, Firewater etc, does anyone else's screen fail to go swirly or change in effect of the drink?

My screen doesn't do but other alliance memebers does, wondering if there's something I can do to fix this.

Thanks in advance.

drinking 3 Ale's is enough to get "drunk" correct?

and also I've been drinking Flasks of Firewater and they doin't give any effect.

Lilanthe, I found the check box on the Options panel but I cannot check it, even if I'm not logged in. Strange...

If you can't check the box, I would guess that your computer's video card can't handle that option.

They added the post process effects due top some players experiencing vertigo when their ingame characters were drunk. This is a similiar effect towhat several years ago happened to unknowing kids while watching Pokemon during some well publicizied problems with some kids having seizures while seeing the scene. Hopefully this problem doesnt effect many players but even if it does they can just turn the option off. I have a nice setup myself for a computer and even my laptop is not too shabby but i choose to turn it off just to keep from getting sick myself. It wont affect a lot of players but do be careful.

I never had post-process effects on, and used to experience drunken screen effects and since a patch within the last 3-4 months (been sober a long time), I haven't had any drunken effects.

Now, I need to enable post-process effects in order for drunken effects to take place now, weird.

Is there any way to get around it, cause the Post-Process effects make everything shine too bright and kills my framerate, but I love the drunken swirley-ness

Not to be off topic, but when you're in the drunken state, is there a drunk icon so you know you're drunk? If not, it would be nice if there was. That way I know for sure the drunkard title points are racking up. The icon should blink to indicate I need to drink another. I haven't tried any drinks cause I'm afraid of messing up and wasting them.

I have not tried the ale or whatever, but I did try that squash serum and there was no effect. I didn't know what was going on. I've done the drunk thing before a while back and it worked so I have not idea why my head didn't turn into a pumpkin when I used the squash serum....

Mine doesn't work reguardless of the post-process effects being enabled... And I know my video card can handle it because it does on my other account. I can get drunk on one account but not the other o_O

Ya I used to get the effects but since they made it switchable, I no longer am able to get them. Strange as the vidcard is the same, but I guess it just slips under the req. for enabling PP effects.
