[UK] Nightfall Delivered For 27th?

Im thinking of ordering the game online but from what ive heard about play.com they wont send it out until the 27th so ill get it the following week. So my question is what places should have the game to your door on release day? I've emailed amzon just waiting for a response.

Also does anyone know the cheapest instore price? because if its not much difference i may aswell run to the shop on the way back from lessons on friday

www.gameplay.com has never failed to have my game at my door at 8AM sharp Release day, and extreemly frequently i actually get the game before its released (i had oblivion days before i should have)

k thanx, think ill go with sendit as the CE is cheaper then gameplay and from what ive heard of play even tho they are shipping it they dont gaurantee delivery for friday

Even during the shortage scare with Factions I had my Factions CE promptly at 8am on the friday.

And Ive also had an email from them today confirming the same will happen

Do we not have key that works for a few days in case the package doesnt arrive like with the Factions release ?

The CE is more expensive, but if you read you also get the pre-release pack with it, which I've seen selling for up to 25 quid.

Plus gameplay deliver for the friday, guaranteed. I know as it stated so.

They havent sent it yet though, I hope by tomorrow.

Really annoyed with amazon.co.uk, my order says estimated shipping date 30th oct - 3rd nov. I am going to phone them tomorrow and if they can't tell me that this is an error and it will be shipped ASAP its getting cancelled in favour of a place that can get it me on time.

If you want to play the game on time then you'd better consider your options very quickly. Though, I wouldn't be worried unless you're a heavy gamer, you really wont miss out on much otherwise.

Gameplay are shipping today (25th). Should get it Friday morning at the latest.

My Standard Edition + Pre-order Pack just switched to "Items shipping soon" - previously it estimated despatch on 26th, for delivery on 27th - 28th.

You didn't select "Supersaver" did you? That adds a few days.

My experience with Amazon.co.uk is that they don't understand the urgency of delivering games by their release date - ah well, at least I got a £3 voucher-apology for the mess they made of my preorder for the Factions guide!

My pre-ordered copies, Regular and CE, of Nightfall have arrived already from Sendit.com, so I'll be able to leap straight into action after breakfast on Friday...

After reading this, I ordered my Nightfall normal edition from sendit.com, thanks for the tip!

Also, I had preordered the CE from dvd.co.uk for £40 about 1 month ago. This monday, I noticed the price on the site was down to £35! I cancelled my order (still showing there as £40) and reordered it for £35. Today is wednesday and the game has already arrived! Kudos to dvd.co.uk !

I preordered mine from PLAY.com and it is dispatched today (25th October).

1- PLAY.com: Usually the cheapest price you can find anywhere in the UK, delivery is fast and free too

2- Gameplay.com: Not the cheapest price, but still cheaper than many online stores. Delivery is fast and free

3- Amazon.co.uk: Usually you can find anything at its lowest price on Amazon. Delivery on orders over £15 are free, however the items aren't dispatched soon and take at least 3-4 days.

4- Game.net: Usually more expensive than other online stores, but has the advantage of having a proper shop where you can try the stuff or ask the staff if possible.
Score: 6.5/10

5- PC World: You can find things at their lowest price on PC World's online shop. Delivery is not free, unless you order £25+ and want the items dispatched once (so if you order two items and one is available and the other one isn't, you'll have to wait for the one to get in stock). Delivery is fast.
