I've run R/A using assassin's promise to recharge a combo and lightning reflexes. I've also run thumper in pve, eh its decent. I'm sure you will see some R/D here soon.

I've been running a standered spike build, but instead of punishing have been taking "coward". Not only funny but actually effective. fun watching the monk fall and get stormed over by a war.

Ive played a R/W for a long time.
Ive used him in PvE and PvP and he does well in both.

The Build I run is

Tigers Fury
Wild Blow
Irresistable Blow
Disrupting Lunge
Lightning Relex's
Heal as One {E}
Charm Animal
Res Signet / Capture Signet

Attributes: 12 Hammer Mastery
10 Expertise (9 + 1)
14 Beast Mastery (10 +3 + 1)

The build is not great for spiking but Brilliant for constant damage output.
Also with Wild blow anything that relies on stances to protect itself is in trouble.
