For me..it was the final two missions of Propheses. Not so much the missions themselves but the group I was with. There was a group of us whom just couldnt seem to get into a group cuase no one wanted rangers. One of the others suggested we all form our own group and give it a whirl. We started the mission with 1 tank, 1 monk, 1npc monk, an ele and the rest of us were rangers. The warrior and monk left the party after capping skills, knowing full well at the begining we were doing the mission not just skill capping. Well we decided to see how far we could get and we finished the last two missions of Propheses as is! Oh I wish i could remember the names of those players from that day...cause to me they were some of the greatest players I ever had the chance to work with!
I have only one memorable Factions memory...and that was the final mission. A fantastic group of players took a chance on me and my ranger. They were going after a masters title and I was just hoping to finish the mission. What the big gamble was..i was taking a set of skills with me that I had never tried before...instead of barrage..I took Dazed and an interrupt/shutdown setup that I had never tested in field before. The other ranger in the group brought traps and I believe barrage too. We got in there and as a team we were able to shut down shiro and keep him unable to cast any spells. I swear if i had blinked I woulda missed shiro going down. I wish there was a way to see how long it took us to do that misson..but all i can say is we got the master.
What is your favorite GW memory?

Those signet rings you could buy in beta that allowed you to have any skill for a certain amout of time.
Getting Conjure Phantasm from those floaty things in Ascalon.. now that was scary!
When summoning a ranger spirits caused death penalty!
Attempting to enter the half finished Dragons Lair in Beta.. and getting shouted at and called a "noob" by my team for salvaging a golden fiery dragon sword found in the lair, yet all characters get wiped at the end of the event?
Ascalon will always be a fond memory,
Aah... hydras

Ring of Fire mission for me. It was in the first months after release, in an elite skill cap, balanced pug. Pretty much everyone started with 3 cap signets... and left with 3 elites captured. We just blasted through the whole map like a hot knife through butter. Great team, great coordination, no death, not even a close call, our only monk finished the mission attacking with one of his captured elites, because he was getting bored
And to boot, everyone stayed to help the only one that didn't have the mission already completed.

I have a several good memories. I remember rolling my first character and starting the game. GW is my first and only MMORPG. So having played other games this was a completely new experience for me. Getting to Ascalon for the first time and seeing all the people there blew me away. The concept of the technology that allows us to interact with each other is truly amazing.
I remember meeting my first guild leader in Yak's Bend. I had a slew of questions for him. I'm surprised he still accepted me after all that.
Being the solo monk for the team in THK and Hell's Precipice was awesome. We had a really good team that knew what to do. It was tough healing, but only a couple of deaths.
I think my favorite memory so far has been completing the first attribute quest in the Arid Sea on my monk. I love it there. It's my favorite thinking spot in all of Guild Wars. It's so peaceful and quiet. Warm desert sun and the view from the top of the rocks is amazing. I 55 myself there now when I just wanna think.

I remember my first mission. Pure luck got me paired in a group with a level 20 running his guildie through. I had no idea what he was doing; why was that guy running past all those enemies and leaving us super low level (keep in mind that, to me, a level 20 was still so very small, so I didn't think that the runner was all that hot) players to fight them? Then the cutscene kicks in and I'm like "omg; this game really does have a story mode. sweet!"
This game has never instilled in me the same feelings of wonder and excitment as my first time through.
best memory of guild wars is from somewhere in the first few months of prophecies' release.
was doing Villany of Galrath with a random group. a lot of people quit which left me and two other people, no monk, and 60% dp.
we had most of the map cleared up to the Necro Priests and Galrath's Bandits... but were getting slaughtered. Getting close to the end of our wits, we decided to try running in and ganking Galrath (and Im not too sure if any of us had droks armor, or were even level 20)
So we run past the Nercros and up onto the bluff and get eaten by galrath and his small army... but then the most amazing thing happened. The priests summoned some minions, and after we rezzed and got almost to the minotaur area on our run back, the quest updated!!! The necromancer Priests killed galrath!!! I have screenshots, I actually forgot about it til this weekend when I was afk so long that I looked through my hundreds of screenshots and all my video captures from the past year and a half.
