With the ocean of threads on such superflous topics as: "best builds", "best equipment", "best strats", and "PvP rits"; I think we are missing some major concerns of ritualists.
What are the best minipets for rits?
How should I dye my armor? Is all out black cool, or should I blend colors and go for like a dark green? How about multi-chromatic schemes? Bi, or maybe even tri or quatro chromatic rits. If I can DPS, heal, MM, and bomb pretty well, shouldn't the colors of my armor reflect this?
How about rit names? the whole concept of rits sounds native american to me, and some of their armor looks tribal african. In fact Asia circa 400 AD is the last thing that comes to mind when I think about rits.
I hope we can see discussion on these and other topics more often. I mean running a mean resto build is fine and all, but what about the all important Style.

Well...
I like the Char Shaman minipet for the rit.
As for colors, etc. I've always favored bright, jarring colors for the ritualists (I've got a female Rit). Since some part of Ritualist magic seems to have something to do with denying your senses (ie... Rit head wraps and closed eyes while casting spells) I've always thought that the busy clothing and weird movements was to take attention away from their existance and draw it towards something else. So my favorite colors are plain yellow or red.

I actually think the Temple Guardian would look nice following a Rit around. But Charr Shaman is great with anything.
I keep my Rits armor dyed red. Though I haven't tried anything else yet.

Silver dye works well on armours like kuzrick or imperial(15k) armour since the skin color when wearing this armour is black it makes a nice contrast.
Pet? I'd have to say the char shaman or temple guardian, maybe something else.

I use a temple guardian minipet with my rit, and he has 15k imperial armor dyed a royal blue.

Jade Armour FTW As for color mine is: 15K Kurzick Helm = 3X sliver +1 yellow, 15K Kurzick Tunic & Leggings = Black, 1.5K Kurzick Hand Wraps & Boots = 3X silver +1 yellow. I've never seen anyone else with that combo so I love it

1. Minipet - can't go wrong with Kuunavang. I'd miss his awful screech while I'm out there alone in the cold, cruel city. But then again, I'm married.
2. Armor dye - Red, Red and more Red. Red just goes great with my ritualist's blonde hair. Black is very nice with Kurzick/FoW armor, but I don't like it near as much with the Luxon armor - I'd rather be bright.
3. Name - the base is to include something to do with Spirits, Shamans, Ether-worldness (i.e. communing), etc. For a male ritualist, I really like Native American type names, which is what they really remind me of.
4. Style - I have to say that my ritualist is probably the most style/appearance conscious that I've been with my characters. But then again, I don't have a pretty boy mesmer yet.
