i purchased the GW game of year edition and it said that when you start out you get a unique starting weapon or something like that but ive been playing for a while(just read the bow today) and i noticed that i never got the item...?
is there something you must do in order to get the item? not that i care much but it would be cool to see what the items do...

You have to go into a town and type "/bonusitems" with the " 's. At least that's what you do with the preorder weapons, and I don't see how it would be any different.

I'm just going to tell you right now, some of the GOTY's have a factory defect. I bought it to add on top of my Prophecies CE for the bonus items, but when I went to add the key it wouldn't let me. It turned out some of the GOTY year keys were registering as Prophecies standard edition keys which is why it wouldn't let me use it. I ended up having to mail my game box and receipt to Texas and a week or two later they switched the key to reading as a GOTY year key and shipped my game box back.
