Look im not saying that HA wasn't swell, or that the shift from 8v8 to 6v6 was neccesarilly a good or bad thing. What im suggesting is that we follow the natural progression of the game to its ultimate yet very much neccessary conclusion.
Following the growing trend of replacing special events with established in game events, Dodge ball MUST replace the current HA tournament.
First HA was 8v8, then came along 6v6 with uber fun extra fame for the masses, oooooooh fuN! Then it was announced 6v6 would replace 8v8 entirely as the permanent HA settup. Following this progression it is only logical after the Mass Appeal of the Dragon Arenas dodge ball event; that we replace the current Heroes' Ascent style play with Dodge Ball, it's already 6v6!!
I'd like to hear everyones praise for the idea!
Heroes' Ascent Dodge Ball?

That's almost insulting...

Capping the altar in a Dodgeball format would be quite...interesting.

Being able to play the dodgeball game more than twice a year or so would be nice. Permanent would be cool for those that want to get away from "fighting" and still do more than just do emotes in a zone and annoy others. But replacing HA? Even as a PvEer I can't help but shake my head at how sad of a suggestion this is.

Even though I rather have 8v8 HA, I find dodgeball a little bit on the cheesy side.

We've already seen how HA turned out when there were one hit kills it was called Signet of might, only difference is you can dodge the orb.

Dodgeball might not be good for HA, but it would be a nice for it to stick around for PvP from now on. Maybe DBA, dodgeball ascent: a DB version of HA.
Agyar
While the OPs suggestion is definately overzealous and not entirely thought out, I think the main point here, as others have said, is that it'd be nice to see Dodgeball on a more regular basis than just these seemingly biannual events. While replacing HA with dodgeball isn't really a great suggestion, some other way of seeing Dodgeball get a more regularly position in the game would be something many people would support, I'm sure.
