Grey Giant: How much will it sell for?

The Grey Giant will be interesting. Many people have their PC Gamer keys in already.

But how great of a demand will there be? And how great a supply?

I expect the Grey Giant to sell for 100k. It is about the same as Kuunavang, and it's the same supply.

Probably an exponential amount of value over time. I'm going to guess it'll double each year, starting at 50k buyout this year.

The thing is Kuunavang actually looked good.

Is it just me that thinks these are a complete waste of time and gold????????

I'd expect the supply to be much greater then kuunavang, but I'm not 100% on that...
But, there's no way around it: the little guy is repulsive.
I'm seriously doubting there is going to be a huge demand for them.
Gussing at ~40k starting out, > 15k in a week or two.

Aw I kinda like him. He has a Nightfall feel. I'll probably keep him for my Paragon. But the one that comes with the CE I'll sell as people mini pets.. well disturb me

seeing as the magazine to get the gray giant costs like $10 or so, tons of people already have the thing.

i think the gray giant will not be very expensive because basically everyone in america already has it, and people from other countries may have bought the magazine key or have gotten the key from friends. besides, it isn't even that cool looking... and it's huge ... lol


i think the reason that kunaavang was so expensive when it came out was because it came from the collector's edition of factions which cost around
$70. also, kunaavang is a lot better looking and there was a high demand at the start of factions for them.

another thing is that prices are being cut in guild wars so i'm not sure if items will be worth 100k or more for long...

wow, if i could get 75k for the thing, i would certainly sell it. i'm sure it won't go above 25k though, everyone has it.

It will be 100k or more for a bit just because people will think its rare and want to have it as soon as possible. The price might drop later but I think it could easily rise again since there will be no more being distributed. Varesh will probably be more.

People are getting smarter after Factions I'm expecting a slower market compared to when Kuunavang came out.

bah 100k.... why when any1 could have got ithe magazine?! Personally I didnt even bother buying the mag, when i heard about it. I dont want a mini pet everyone else has. It just wont justify spending 100k!

I expect Gray Giant to start at 100k and then go down to 40k in a month.

Well considering that you can't just get it, you have to do a quest to get it, people aren't going to pay much for it. Because it's not really rare or anything. I vote that it'll be worth 100k+ to stupid people, but <30k to those who actually know what it is.

Think that the people who have to have it will buy it at a higher price, or could be that their money is buring a hole in their pocket. Think it will bottom out at 25k give or take.

I won't pay more for that piece of broken toy then 25k.. Although I'll probably have to wait a while to obtain one then
