Well, I ordered the CE and I just entered they key.
While I am not surprised that I don't have access to Nightfall in the campaign box, I am surprised that while they have listed the "extra" slots I now have (I don't actually have access to them yet) they have not listed that the key I entered was a CE key, not even on the confirmation screen.
So for the sake of my worry, if Alex or Gaile is floating around, we won't see anything till Friday midnight, correct, and then those of us who entered the key early will get it listed, right?
Finally I hope the CE problem - if there is one - will be as easy to fix as the CE problem for Prophecies.

Wait up Loz, have you bought any extra chars? Reason I ask is because I bought 1 shortly after the extra char's thingy was introduced, and you get 2 extra chars per campaign.
At first I went.....oddness it is telling me I have 3 extra chars, cool its added the 2 for Nightfall and the bonus one for the pre-order, but I don't think that is how it works, I think its the previous campain plus any additionals you have purchased.

As far as I understand as soon as nightfall goes live you will get your 2/3 extra slots... The keys wont show up either. And yes the weapons too :P

you can add the pre-release already, you won't get you char slot yet, but the special items are already available with the /preorder command, I'm wielding the dervish scythe already with my monk and my mesmer

pre-release + ce = 3 slots
so in THEORY ppl should have their 3 slots if they have added both keys.
but they dont
and its not coming up in the manage keys box...

Actually this is the same thing that happened with Factions. I entered my key in hours before the launch, and it was like it never existed. Good thing everything showed up when Factions opened up^^.

Actually, now that I think about it is a little strange, I've purchased two slots. I know this for certain. It is saying I have 4 slots *blink* which is what I would have if I added the two from NF. It says NOTHING about the *extra* slot from the pre-order...
Normally I would say that it would be showing 2 or 3 (purchased + pre-order) but it isn't.
My real concern, which obviously didn't come across very well, is that I have the CE. When ADDING the CE key, the "add key" page did not list the campaign as the CE version. (I think with Factions it did.) Neither did it list any of the in-game bonuses (on that page). The in-game bonuses do NOT display in the campaign box, but in the "extras" section. These are not listed here either.
Once again let me state that my concern centres on the fact that AFAIK Factions did list the CE stuff especially on the "add this key screen", my CE for NF has NOT. Perhaps this will all show up in the right place on Friday, however I would like to know if other CE owners have had the SAME thing happen.
FYI: My Prophecies CE didn't work properly either. I had to get the key specially added by support to get my divine aura - after a lot of evidence of purchase was handed over, naturally!

Bowman, have you added a NF key? If so I'd say this is what has happened: because it can't "add" NF yet, it has "added" two slots, and this will disappear when the NF key is fully added. As the NF key has not been fully added our third pre-order slot has not been logged. Of course this falls apart if Bowman has not added a NF. In fact I would say the thing is bugged if Bowman has not added a NF key. FTR previously my key screen has said two slots (which was what I had bought).

Same thing happened with the pre release key. No confirmation or indication that it got added to your account whatsoever. It did, but you just couldn't see it. A day later they had a small patch, so that it showed up in your account.

I emailed support about this problem and they said that Nightfall wouldn't appear until they unlocked the servers on Friday so try not to worry everyone

I think when they unlock the Nightfall server, those keys will be activated. You shouldn't be worried.

Some people (with the CE) have the CE signature dances listed on their accounts, and some people do not.
In the case that this is NOT fixed with release, here are the steps you must take to get support to put those goodies back on your account:
NOTE: I hope you have a digital camera. If you don't this may take you a LONG time.
1. Photograph everything, the box, the book the cd's - take multiples! Support will want evidence that you did indeed purchase the CE.
2. Scan in your receipt, and make sure it is readable!
3. Scan in your game card key and make sure it is readable.
4. Start a support ticket and attatch all the evidence (photos and scans) and write politely, in full and (fairly) grammatically correct sentences that:
- you bought the CE
- the evidence is attatched
- the CE is not working as advertised
- no signature dances
- no Varesh pet (IF APPLICABLE)
You might want to think about taking a screenie of your key section too for attatchment.

umm, not sure if this is gona work for everyone, but it seems that after I put in the DVD to install the game, the char slots showed up, and the account now shows that I have access to Nightfall.

Cosy - this appears to be an EU account/key problem. If you are on the NA server with an NA key, you should not have this problem.

I entered my NF CE key along with the bonus key which I entered a few weeks ago. I recieved varesh mini pet but I only get 2 char slots. I'm missing one slot, it should have been 3

I entered my key (bonus first) and I've had no problems. I'm on US servers and have the EU version of the game.
