Anet has reported that when having Nightfall and one or more of the previous chapters, that completing each chapter will unlock a special hero that belongs to the chapter.

If you can really win a hero when finishing a chapter that mean :
-The hero is not a merco a any point of the chapterS (Alesia and co)
-The hero CAN'T be see in a town (Master Tidus ...)
-The hero CAN'T be in a cinematic (Togo, Shiro, Lich ...)

There are two heros listed in the manual as having origins of Tyria and Cantha. A necro and an assassin. Bet it's them.

I would like it very much is there were a good few heroes for each chapter and there were some really nice story quests to rescue/find/help them out.

Verata would be an excellent choice for a prophecies hero IMHO.
Otherwise it would be interesting to add a special recruitable hero on each god realm as a reward for finishing all quests on the realm...

Turai Ossa is the Ghostly Hero I mentioned. Probably the most likely Hero for prophecies... I dont know... just bored and speculating... and honestly Id rather have a non-warrior myself... otherwise I will just run iway with koss, morgahn, ossa, and horseman of war... and thatd be no fun at all.

It's already been confirmed in the preview video that the bonus Factions hero is Zenmai, and assassin.
The Tyrian hero has been confirmed by super fan winners as a necromancer who's name slips my mind, but it wasn't any of the old storyline campaign characters, just a made up one like Zenmai.

According to Gaile I think it was, when you get to that part of the story, you will have your choice between recruiting Goren or Norgu, the Mesmer/Actor.

I'm hearing talk on this thread that the additional heros will be unlocked only if you finish the other chapter. is this confirmed or guesswork?
Also, as much as it probably won't happen, i think it would be great to get an older version of Gwen as the hero. probably as a warrior, like devona, but maybe with more stylish outfit(since she said that mesmers were prettier) . maybe you have to do a seperate quest that required the tapestry shard thingy. They did say that nightfall would tie up some lose ends, that's definately a loose end that i've wanted tied up for a long time.
Then again, the whole mystery around gwen amongst the community is highly entertaining, so maybe it would be a shame to stop it.
