New Skill - Warrior - Impenetrable Flesh

Impenetrable Flesh
Stance
8 Adreneline
Strength Attribute
While in stance, for 3-15 seconds, you cannot receive a condition while being targeted by a physical attack. While in this stance, you attack 25% slower.
This skill will work against skills that cause bleeding, cripple, deep wound, poison and others. This will only work against physical attacks.Spells that cause conditions will still work.
Edit: A condition received "being targeted by a physical attack" will encompass all skills that cause a condition while attacking, as well as preparations.
A couple of examples...A warrior using sever artery, dishes damage, but the bleeding is nullified or a ranger using apply poison, dishes damage, but poison is nullified. Those are examples of "physical" attacks.
On the other hand, being diseased by tainted flesh would not be prevented, because the condition is not the result of being the target of a physical attack.

seems fair enough but maybe lessen the duration a bit ?

Not sure what "receiving a condition due to a physical attack" means.
From an attack skill?
From an attack skill?

Seems fair and balanced, and I have a feeling a skill like this will be coming out in NightFall =)

Arcanis the Omnipotent
From an attack that deals physical damage.
Otherwise you've pretty much made Rangers usesless against Warriors.
But if the attack came from an Elemental weapon it still would work.

Conditions don't come from elemental weapons, first of all. Secondly, Rangers causing conditions will not kill a warrior, but speed up his death with time. I have been poisoned, bleed, slowed down, and deep wounded, and lived(thx to a special lady monk I know), so the stance would be nice, but attacking slower would definitely hamper the warrior more than I would desire.
But, as a balance, it works, I guess. I guess it would be like focusing to keep the condition from setting in.

question:
ranger uses fiery bow unleashes cripshot...
is the warrior crippled?!
i say either make it elite or make you move 50% slower...

Type of attack not type of damage.
In short, any attack that is dependent of physical contact with a target.
Examples would be bow attacks, hammer attcks etc.
Although a fiery bow deals fire damage, the attack is still physical, therefore, no cripple from cripshot fired from a fiery bow.
This skill will not cover spells, all other forms of conditions will be covered.
A change to balance it further - While in stance, for 3-15 seconds, the next condition you would receive while being the targetof a physical attack will be negated.

I'm not certain here myself...isn't a wand doing physical attacks too? or are these considered magical?

I think an attack is considered an attack, if you wand a ranger setting up a trap you still interrupt him even if it isn't a physical attack (like a sword). Using that logic I guess a wand with apply poison would not poison someone using this skill.

- Melee
- Projectile
- Skill type
- Attack skills (pretty much only this)
You'd have to pick a weapon type, or simply say all attacks in general. You could additionally say any non-spell. I can't see how anyone save the masses of solo farmers would want to use this skill, though.

Also think of this. you do have to cap this spell as it should be elite. Think of trying to kill the boss that has it.

If you modified this to simply state: "While in stance, you cannot receive a condition from an attack skill", it would be a lot clearer.
I am unaware of any condition that can be applied from a normal attack. Normally, these conditions are applied due to attack skills (other than maybe from pets).
I don't see the developers allowing immunity from trap-caused conditions nor from spells.
