Oh a GW forum
Seems pointless to have an event that less than .01% of the guildwars community will have a chance to attend...
Guess you guys just wanted an excuse to get out of the office?

Seattle > ann arbor. Damn, I wish I lived closer to where stuff happens. Nothing ever happens in michigan.

But there's lots to do in Remond Town Center to keep you busy. Some restaurants (either right there or within easy walking distance), movie theater, bookstore (I think it's a Borders), ect ect.
Call Gamestop; It seems to differ from store to store, so I suggest giving them a ring and finding out. I called my local EB today to confirm that yes, I can pick mine up tomorrow. (in my case, I walk into my local EB and they look at me like, "Oh, great, it's the crazy Guild Wars chick again... wonder what SHE wants?") -kel! |
Not sure yet if I will make the drive...I'll be up at midnight to play Nightfall a bit. If I decide to drive down I plan on leaving early enough to be there around 2:30, but never been to Redmond.
Usually takes me an hour and a half to 2 hours to get to Seattle depending on traffic. Good to know what traffic should be like down there though.
I got a call from gamestop 2 hours ago saying I can pick it up tomorrow ^.^

I'm not sure if I'll bother going or not, seeing as I'm on the north end myself and avoid the traffic as often as possible. Earlier in the day would be something to seriously consider, but rush hour on a Friday afternoon? Yikes.

Hope they can fit all those angry chinese farmers who will now be attending in that building

I came, I said hi, I grabbed my preorder. Thought about getting a poster, looked at the queue, realised I should be at work, and left.
Nice to see you, Jenny, Jeff G, Gaile & co! Thanks for all the hard work on Nightfall!

Well I showed up for this, but it looked like it was just a signing, and I had been hoping to chat with the devs. Large lineup outside also that didn't seem to be moving.
Oh well it was only a 15 minute drive anyway.

Well oddly enough I ended up going up there today to do some actual work and stopped by. Very large line but it was nice to see the people behind the magic.
Diablo???
The whole thing was great!! I cancelled my luncheon with the President, hopped onto my private Jet in New York, brought along some of my bestest best friends to meet with Gaile. We all went to Chuck-E-Cheese's afterward, and had a real blast!
... then I woke up.
