ugh, I'm two states south.

I'm very tempted to make it, but I'm staying home from work that day (staying home and playing, yes, and therefore probably avoiding Redmond!), and have my 10 year high school reunion at 7 and who knows what else that day. Besides, I've harassed plenty of ANet people already last week. :: giggle ::

But I'll spread the word with other locals who don't know already!

I know. I probably shoulda been at GenCon. I wasn't off doing "PR stuff," though, because I'm not PR! In fact, the way it worked was, PR was there, but I'm CR and I wasn't there. We'll see what we can do next year.

Hmm, I live a couple hours north in Bellingham. I would love to get my Nightfall CE signed and my original and Factions CEs too.

Any artists going to be there, would love to get them to sign the art books.

How bad is traffic there? What time should I leave to get there on time? Hmmm....

And would the CE I preordered from the Gamestop up here arrive in time, hopefully I can pick it up before the 27th.

I'd love to go, simply because I think it would be a neat experience, but I live in Michigan and thats a LONG drive.

On a Friday, traffic might be bad; I want to say about 2.5 hours to be safe, because Everett can be a pain most days anyway. If you get into Redmond by 3, you'll probably be fine, but traffic starts to get nasty around that time, so don't plan on getting OUT of Redmond until 7-ish. But there's lots to do in Remond Town Center to keep you busy. Some restaurants (either right there or within easy walking distance), movie theater, bookstore (I think it's a Borders), ect ect.

Call Gamestop; It seems to differ from store to store, so I suggest giving them a ring and finding out. I called my local EB today to confirm that yes, I can pick mine up tomorrow.

(in my case, I walk into my local EB and they look at me like, "Oh, great, it's the crazy Guild Wars chick again... wonder what SHE wants?")
