With the coming of "Signet of Illusions" in Nightfall, I started a new character that focuses attacks with Arcane Thievery and Arcane Larceny, coupled with Arcane Echo. However, when I cast the following: Arcane Echo, Arcane Larceny, Arcane Larceny (copied), I "disabled" the same spell twice.
My thinking is that if the spell is disabled, then that spell is excluded from the next randomly disabled spell. Thoughts?

That would be the way I would think it would work, perhaps this is just a bug that will be corrected in a future update...
The truth itself
I've also tried that, it's very annoying to steal three copies of healing breeze.
Note that Echo also works, so you can actually steal four skills

Not Signed, it's a balance issue. Being able to arbitrarily lock out half an opponents skill bar for a long duration would be ridiculously powerufl. As it is now you can annoy them, but the more you try to take the harder it gets.

Personally, what I'd like to see is an interrupt that acts like Thievery/Larceny, which would allow you to take the one you want by waiting for your hapless opponent to try casting it...
And I'd have to say, the time I did it I did enjoy blasting the hydras with their own fireballs (yes, I was a Me/E with points in fire. Picking up two copies of Fireball was a good thing! )

After doing some testing in some Guild Hall Duels, I have noticed that if one does not immediately cast the echoed or equivalent Arcane Thievery that a new spell is stolen and disabled. Disabled spells do appear to be removed from the random selection of Arcane Thievery/Larcaney. There appears to be some timing issue.
For those of you with concerns about this combination being too powerful, if it truly is a timing issue, then I am just pointing out a problem in how it should be properly implemented.
