Has anyone else noticed increased drops?

Personally, i've seen (seemingly) increased drop rates for the 3 following items:

Silver Dye
Black Dye
Vigor Runes

I don't know about anyone else, but farming skill points at Drok's lately with various characters of mine, i've received many Silver and Black dye drops, and through questing / area exploration for skill caps, i've gotten a couple Vigor drops (Minor, Major, Superior).

Before the green drop weekend, I have gotten these items to drop, but nowhere near the frequency they're dropping at now.

Has anyone else noticed this, or have I just been lucky lately?

It would make sense for them to increase the drop rates on those items, if they truely want the economy to be more accessible to new players. I haven't been farming much so I can't verify your findings.

im getting off topic, but I am retarded- ive sold a bunch of minor and major absorption runes to the merchant... didnt even think about the new warriors that will be rolled this weekend...

Yeah, i've hit up the Rune Merchant many a time recently with runes that I know new players will need, and prices will sky rocket on them instantly. Oh well

i solo farmed vermins & pongmei valey a little more than half an hour, and I dropped a celestial gold sword from a vermin (unfortunatly not max dmg), a sapphire and a black dye.
either i'm really lucky today, or they did improve the drops.

I have gotten 4 Superior Vigors over the past 3 days where I chest farm. With nearly 1000 chests open, it's about freakin time... But those are the first I have ever got before.

yea i've been seeing much more superior runes and gold dropping. the dyes not so much but i've never had luck with those.

yes, i have also noticed this,

yesterday i got 4 gold drops in 3 runs before the farm code kicked in,
3 of them turned out to be perfect and 1 was 95% perfect

so yeh anet has definately increased the drop rate of rare items and the chance of getting good mods and runes (probably until next week when NF is released)

I have gotten about 10 Superior Vigors in all my 2000+ hours accross 2 accounts. Plenty of Majors though. I havent been noticing any drops out of the ordinary - I am studying psychology in school and you have to realize that people look for patterns in events in order to make sense of the world around them. It could be that you have just seen a series of random events that occur more closely than you would expect. Now if black dye price falls to 800gp, then you can definitively say that drops went up. :P

I haven't noticed anything and i've been farming trolls for the past 2 days straight.. guess you guys are either lucky, or I am unlucky..

i got 2 ghial staves last night.

Granted i only killed him 3 times.

I got my first sup vigor ever yesterday, from a chest at hell's prec...

3-4 golds dropped in SF last night.......from monsters. O.o

It does seem like they have increased it.... or i'm just a lucky guy with an unlucky title :P

1 I was doing some "troll fun" :P 2 runs, 2 golds......
2 I was wandering around and killing some stuff with the wardens... RUNE mania...
3 no luck on dye's, but hey, you can't have everything :P

maybe it has something to do with the new salvage possibilities.

since the success of salvaging a 15^50 depends on the rank of wisdom title.

could be they want people to reach a higher level on this title to have more of these mods around to keep the price down.

I've had a huge influx of Silver Dye. Like, not even funny. 6+ in the past week. I got a black dye with 7 henchies last night in Mineral Springs (Avicara). I have been noticing a lot more Major Vigs, no Superiors for me though. I'd suspect drops have been ramping up slightly, but nothing amazingly market-destroying.

I have noticed an increase in Gold Items. A lot more have been dropping more frequently from my usual farming trip around the Wajjun Bazaar, yesterday I got 2 golds in one run in the form of a Diamond Aegis (which I REALLY didn't expect) and a Golden Pillar...Nice items, although only 1 mod on each...so they'll be going to the Heroes.

Not had me a black dye in aaages. I did however get 2 major vigor runes drop from the same mob a couple of days ago.

I've been seeing a lot more cloth and tanned hide drop lately.

Over the 8 hours I played Sunday and Monday, I got 4 minor vigor runes, a black dye, 2 silver dyes, and 4 superios runes of various skill types (including one Death Magic rune). These were all drops I picked up during the course of doing the Cavalon Faction quests (the non-repeatables).

Then lastnight, to my suprise, the very first boss that I killed with my infant Assassin character dropped a green. It was the mantid boss right outside the monastary so the green wasn't very good and I gave it away to a low-level monk, but still...

I'm glad I'm not the only person who was thinking the drop rates for rarer items has increased.

On an unrelated topic, I encounted a glitch last night with the same assassin character. I spent 2 Monastary Credit at the Quartermaster to buy 2 bags. When I opened my inventory, I was amazed to find 4. My first thought was to check my stack total and make sure I didn't click the button more times than I had meant to, but my total had only decreased by 2. It had evidently given me doubles each purchase. Weird...

I've played the game for +1500 hours and got my first black dye drop a couple of weeks ago.....had another two since. I've had quite a few silvers as well. I thought I was super-lucky, but it does seem drops have been increased.
