Guild Halls and Nightfall
Horseman Of War
Id like to start a survey thread.
Does your guild anticipate changing guild halls to a NF Hall?
Did you change guild halls when Factions came out?
If so what guild halls have you all gone through? Id like to see how popular each one is....
-the CULT originally had Burning Isle, changed to Isle of Jade w/factions, and I have two sigils saved for Nightfall.

KOS has had the Warriors hall for most of the game, we briefly flirted with the wizards hall after release, however I recently came into the leadership position of the guild and may change halls to a Nightfall hall if I find one that I like.

Girl Power had the Isle of the Dead at first, because we liked the Catacombs-like appearance.
With Factions, we changed to the Isle of Meditation because it was just beautiful.
I don't forsee us changing for Nightfall unless one of the new halls completely blows us away, like Meditation did with Factions release. Having seen the scenery and architecture in the previews, I just don't think that'll happen.

Darkpower Alchemist
My guild,The Circle Of Nine, has the Isle Of The Dead. When I first created a guild, The Bladedancer Guild, I bought the Wizard's Isle because it was a beautiful hall. I bought the Isle of The Dead for tactical reasons.
The only reason to change halls at this moment would be for a tactical advantage and for its appearance. My hall is fully outfitted, so I have no real reason to change halls unless the new one is spectacular.

Our guild is starting to take GvG's a bit more seriously. If for any reason we switch to a Nightfall Hall, it will most likely be to test it out and study the map for, or, like everyone here has said, if it looks so awesome it blows us away.
Velvet Wing
We (The guardians of the Wing) started out on The isle of meditation, just cause the map was pretty.. Recently we converted to the isle of weeping stone.. We liked the whole church thingy in there, and the dark kurzick setting ^^
We might switch to a Nightfall hall, but only if we find one with a tactical advantage and kick ass looks

newb question.. does it cost money to change guilds? Like do you have to get rid of your first one then go about buying the second?
On track though I'm waiting for nightfall before I get my guild a cape and hall incase there is anything new.

^You have to get another sigil every switch.
I doubt I'll be getting another hall as my guild quite enjoys the imperial isle.

My guild had Burning Isle and then switched to Imperial Isle after Factions came out.. we don't GvG much, so if a new gh catches our attention, I'm pretty sure that we'd consider switching halls.

since we mainly just GvG above anything else in GW we are always looking at our build vs the tactics possible in the guild hall... with the new halls it will take some learning and changing our tactics to adapt to new builds and environments.

Yeah, I created my own 1-man-guild yesterday called, "The Order of the Sunspear [Sun]"
Cool, eh ?
Main reasons I created it:
-Alliance Battles
-Really neat cape. It's a bird rising up above the sun. Perfect for a sunspear.
I think it'll look pretty good with my paragon.
I already bought an extra sigil a while ago incase the prices were to increase after Nightfall comes out.
I'm planning on buying obviously the Sunspear guild hall, then my Sunspear transformation shall be complete..

If you have a fully outfitted guild hall and decide to get a different one, do you have to buy all the NPCs again?
We have the Isle of Meditation. We just like to hang out in it and run around. Our guild is too small to even consider GVG, and we prefer to just keep it casual PVE these days.
