Halloween in Elona!
Forjo
It's not on the main page yet, but it's in-game:
A Halloween celebration will take place in
Tyria and Elona, beginning 10:01 a.m. on
October 27th, and running through 11:59 p.m.
on October 31st. Join the party in Lion's Arch
and Kamadan!
Looks like Cantha is left out of this one...

I can only welcome the ghoulies ^^
JC68
well this was known some time before from scribe i think...
Forjo
Actually, I didn't see anything in the Scribe about Elona -- at the time, the Scribe was only visiting Tyria and Cantha.

Sweet.. that should stop complaing from some of the Tyria people... of course now there is the Cantha people.. but at least it will be a different group complaining (I hope.)
Still it's cool that it's in both places. Did we get to Kamadan in the preview? I don't remember exactly. If not it's interesting that we'll see what it looks like all dect out before its normal look (assuming the dress it up.)

Yeah, the Tyria/Elona Halloween event has been confirmed by the scribe as well as all the recent Gaile chats, but I'm sure (as proven already) that there's still lots who dont seem to know
Anyways, glad I'll be able to experience the Mad King this time.
Last Halloween I was no longer playing GW, because it would crash my entire computer after 1-10 mins of play. So not much my fault here .
I got myself a brand spankin' new computer for Christmas though, so this time I'll be able to do the event

Hopefully they will have some games I can play to work on a title. Games of Chance, probably not but I can wish.
Witch/Wizard hat would be awesome though.

Good for the people who already have pumpkin heads and want something new, but bad for people like me who couldn't log on GW for last years event because GW would crash the computer after 1-10 min after logging in ..
That's ok though I suppose. Those keepsakes are nice, but wont affect me much in the end..besides the fact that it makes me crunch in the corner of my bedroom, weep, and rock back and forth every night.

I missed the Tengu event but I won't get all bent out of shape about it as well.

how can you even compare the awesomness of the pumkin crown to the tengu mask??

The only character I bothered to get a pumpkin crown was my necro. I thought it suited her best, what with the whole playing-with-the-dead/evil thing. My warrior and new ranger don't have any holiday headgear, so I will try to make it a point to treat them, the warrior especially since she has nothing at all. My ranger, at least, has a dragon mask.

For the record, masks are fun for sb/prot monks [mine's got the dragon head]
coordinate the starter armor and mask color, good stuff
[guessing if there is a mask here again it'll dye, we'll see]

I'm not interested in the pumpkin head, I like my spaces in my inventory to remain uncluttered for the most part, I'll probably get one for one character. I can't wait for Christmas though, I need to get my monk (Santa Claws) a santa hat, I wasn't playing around the holidays last year
I do look forward to the event itself though, it will likely prove to be a lot of fun. What I really want to see is the Kamadan side of the event, even though I didn't really participate in anything last year I did log in and check out the decorations in LA/Ascalon, I mainly want to see what new items/games may be available in Kamadan.
