Options to buy specific skill in online store?
looloo
Hi guys from Anet or PlayNC, if you guys reading this, i'm just wondering if it is possible to establish a system in online store where you can buy certain skill, instead of the whole pack? That'd be really thoughtful for some who can't afford the whole thing, and only need some of the skills. I'm sure some don't mind you guys charging higher per skill price compared to per skill price for the whole pack. This way, you can earn more and satisfy more customers. Isn't that wonderful? Please strongly consider if u think the option is viable. Thanks

I think ANET officially covered this one... they were originally going to sell entire class skill unlocks but decided to scrap it due to the billing and itemizing nightmare it was going to pose. Now, imagine the above getting made a hundred times worse by selling individual skills.
This is why ANET consolidated all the Prophecies skill unlocks into a single package online. The Factions equivalent will be released at a future date, and Nightfall after that.

I think Lord Shar hit the nail on the head. The transaction-costs would be huge.

ah ok ...i can understand the request to sell individual skill may be too much too ask, but class skills pack should be ok right? I mean you can still charge higher price for class skills, but lower than the pvp pack's price. This should pretty much cover up the credit card transaction cost to some extent right?
Guildmaster Cain
WTB skill from online shop, paying 2 cent per skill!

Ok what i mean is like since they charge 24 pound for the pvp pack, meaning each class skills cost about 3 pound each (total 8 class). So, why not sell each class skills pack for like 5 or 6 pounds? This way the extra 2 pounds should cover the transaction cost plus players have more freedom and options too right?

i think a good reason is :
95% of skill sucks
people who want pvp will buy only the 5% of good skill
arena net will lose money
arena net dont like lose money
