thats pretty good. req8, but the lacking a damage mod is bad. 5 energy on a ranger isnt that important. with out another mod, i say 1-2.5kish

I think it would be more than that. You can always get it 20% modded. My ranger uses a zodiac +5 energy bow. with the limited energy pool it helps.

its not the first time these weapons pop up. Last time i was in FoW i opened a chest and a req 8 gold shadow blade popped up. after identify it had also no inherent mod but did have 20/20 sundering.

Exactly...the +5 energy is the inherent - and they are very desirable to certain people; +5 energy weapons are becoming more and more popular, and given a rangers expertise att, I have found that 5 extra energy can go a long way.

The price for these is typically fairly comparable to a 15^50 mod on most weapons.

Some people, especially collectors, also like to collect weapons with no mods (called "clean" weapons)...so the long and short of it is this is actually a very nice drop.
