So... I know a lot of other people have noticed this too, but for those who haven't:
Farming seems to have been big time nerfed. I have only tried it with one character, my Ele at the Trolls outside of Drok's.
Here's what happened:
I enchanted myself with Mending, Essence Bond, and Balthazar's Spirit.
I ran toward the cave. Upon aggroing monsters, I enchanted myself with the skills Protective Spirit and Spirit Bond. I continued to run toward the cave.
I refreshed the skills as they timed out, nothing weird there.
I made it to the cave.
I aggroed a large group of Trolls, as per my normal farming ritual.
As the group enclosed around me, I cast PS and SB again, encasing myself in healing goodness.
Not more than 1 second later, Spirit Bond was removed and I died.
It had not timed out. I was not interrupted. It was on maybe 1 or 2 seconds of enchated time, with 6 or 7 seconds still remaining.
It was stripped. By Trolls.
No way. I tried again. Re-applied my enchants, and ran back to the cave.
Same thing happens again. I'm now at 30% dp with a look of sadness on my face.
-- From what I hear other people saying, Monsters at level 20 or above can now strip enchants.
To get this out of the way, I wasn't farming Trolls for money. I've recently been trying to "complete" each of my characters by fully unlocking all skills (elites and non-elites) on their respective classes, so when NF is out, I can go cap the new skills and fiddle with any new build I come across. I was farming skill points, not money. I know that farming Trolls is less than lucrative on the totem pole of farming. Please don't get this fact wrong, and flame me for LOL FARMING TROLLS FOR MONEY LOL
So...I don't know if anyone's tried any other spots with any other characters, but Drok's = out of the picture for 605, 105, 55 builds now. SAD FACE!

Yes you will need a new build, I've been old schooling that troll run and keep going to do the giants. Now trolls are smart. When they get low of health they run away and sit until they build up health, then come back. If I try to stand next to any of the trolls they run away from me. So they no longer continue to attack until dead. O well alot of farming has been nerfed. 2-man UW is dead. The monsters unagro from monk and run to necro as soon as he/she use skills on them. Bah what have they done!

I was hearing lots of this in Droks as 55ing just got harder for any class I guess but mostly Monks.It is going to hard to get rares or some good droppings or even mats and the UW who knows it may require a 4 man team.I still haven't gotten an ecto out of there yet.I thought it would get my xp up.

It's hard to get golden ones in the normal game area, everywhere or you're just lucky. And the UW is still soloable and the ectos drop rarely.

They originally omitted the SB change from the update notes.
Ele PBAOE farming in general got nerfed pretty fierce, although I'm hard at work at finding new, more inventive ways to obliterate them!
Of note, blasting stuff with AOE is a great way to ensure that pretty much only 3 of them will ever be attacking you at a time, which HAS to be exploitable somehow.

When u farmed there 1 day long u had like 100k
it got nerfed now to.
It was a great spot for me to make cash for my fissure amror but now it can't anymore

This also kills the 55/ss duo completely. FoW is still soloable, but now it's harder to get fow armor. They're really pushing their limits...if this game wasn't free I would be considering cancelling my subscription.

Euhm why is it important for us to know WHY u were farming trolls? U make it sound like its something to be ashamed about, which is clearly not. It used to be a fairly good run and i did it many times, sometimes even now.
I can't imagine that if u purely farmed for exp you wouldnt take the drops from the trolls, so in a way ur farming for money as well.

well if you ask me i am very happy they nerfed it.

everybody could get fow armor with the duo uw farming or farming how you do it, its just to easy, in fact fow armor is expensive, but not hard to get it. I farmed 3 weeks for fow armor for my ele, i bought it 2 weeks ago, so i guess i am a lucky man. specialy because the ele is getting interesting now (FINALLY)
But i am happy for this. i was planning not to do duo UW anymore, since i got 3 fow armors and try to form a ballanced full group for clearing the entire UW. thats more of a challange then DUO ecto farming.
Btw in my oppinion they did not nerf the skills like SS and Spiritbond but the solo/duo farming in some areas. Spirit bond can still be a usefull skill in some areas where there are some foes that can cause mayor damage. and SS, well i dont think SS was made to kill all enemies in SS/echo/SS. just combine forces with other chars and SS will still be a goody skill.
Btw if you still wanna make fast money with your warrior, just do Fow Spidercave, i think this is not nerfed, same for the solo ranger Forrest farm, same as trapping groups in UW.
