I'm in the same boat. I've played other MMORPG's , mostly everquest and a dip in WoW, but heard good things about Guild Wars and wanted to try it and give it a shot. So, if you have a buddy key for any and don't mind parting with it, I'd love to see what the talk is about. Thanks!

I'm new here, and just doing some research on Guild Wars...me and 2 friends were heavy into WoW for a little under 2 years, but stopped playing like a year ago, due to boredom, and 2 of us now have children and just don't have the time for heavy raiding etc...
I'm the video game scout of the group, so I'm looking to see if I can find an access key so I can try it out and report my findings
Any help is appreciated!

I've been looking for a new game to play since I've recently stopped playing WoW after 3 years and I know a few of my friends had a blast with this game when it was first released. Hello, I am looking for a trial key to try out guild wars. Never played it and don’t know much about it but want to give it a shot. I currently play wow all the time now and was looking for a change but wanted to see what guild wars was really like. Can’t believe that the website does not offer free trails. Hah, I had no idea this game had a trial available. I've been searching for a new MMO for a good while, I've looked at this game but was put off when I saw that there was no demo available. I'd appreciate any trial key if anyone's got a spare.

Hey i got a question , I bought factions first (Got 4 char slots) then i bought NF (it went to 6 char slots) If i will buy proph now , will i get 8 char slots??? Oh when i bought factions i got 2 accounts , same with you guys?

I had the pre release pack of EOTN when it was released and didn't realise that when I entered the game it gave me a trial of Nightfall, so the clock was ticking away in the background. It gave no announcement that I'd unlocked it etc. So before I knew it a message appeared in the chat area saying I had 1 hour left of Nightfall access! Needless to say I was like "WTF!!?"
Anyway, that was a wasted opportunity. I have all the other games accept NF and I only want it so I can unlock skills through Balthazar faction for my Heroes to use.

Is there any other way to gain access to the NF in a trial way? I'm still absolutely gutted that they didn't tell me that I had a NF trial when I bought EOTN pre release pack!

2.If your friend is intyerested in the game lt him borrow your account but make hima character for him
3.If you really that stupid to ask someone for a buddy key u need to install the game first wich means U NEED THE DISK and lastly

You can download the game client for free from ArenaNet and other places as well, so you don't need anything shipped to you, no disc etc... for installation.
Also most ppl will want to play with there friends to see if they like it...so letting your friend use your account kinda messes that up (not too easy to have 2 ppl logged into the same account at once ya know).
