Several questions after this big update.

OK I have loaded up my second account, which was started mainly for storage :S, saw the Xunlai upgrade guy and thought 'YIPPEEE!'. Until now I haven't been able to get the materials upgrade since it is a prophecies only account, but after handing over my 50g.....no change . Do you think this is just a glitch? Should I report it?

Also I spoke to Lionguard Bedo and ended up in an area called Lion's Gate, which I had never seen before. Is it new? What is its purpose? Nothing seems to happen there.

Lastly, this Halloween celebration. I can't find any more details about it. How do I know when I should be there and who I should speak to?

I'm guessing you have to talk to Lionguard Bedo, after which he takes you to Lion's Gate, where the Halloween even is.

I've just given 50 gold to the representative to upgrade my account and I didn;t get the materials storage either. I'm guessing it's a bug but it might get fixed with the release of Nightfall tomorrow with any luck.

The current system only upgrades storage account for 1 character at a time, so if you have 5 characters, you haft to unlock for each.

Also, is this a Canthan (Factions) character? Lion's Gate is the place Factions characters come from Cantha to Tyria for the first time (I believe).

I have only one character and I have the same problem. I gave my money and I don't have material's storage.

You are sure that you're looking for it in the right place? Its just part of your old storage. When you open your old storage there should be a tab called materials you can click on. If that doesn't exist then I'd say yeah it is a bug and it most likely will be fixed soon. Sooner if you report it

Well.. i have a simple question about this update.. Where are the red dyes? O_O i can't find them..

I unlocked my materials storage just fine from the agent in Lions Arch. I did a full update with the "-image" option over night, maybe your update is still loading?

Thanks for your replies everyone. Just to clarify on the storage upgrade.....this is my second account, my main account has prophecies and factions, I upgraded those characters in Cantha with no problems at all, so I know how the storage works. The problem lies with my prophecies only account, on which I have never seen the upgrade guy in LA until this morning.....and it just don't work, despite him telling me I already have all available upgrades .

Is the lightning bolt still going in the upper-right corner of your screen?

Nope, no lightning bolt. It is now several hours since I paid the upgrade guy, I have logged out and in a few times today, still no materials upgrade . I am hoping that the quirk will be sorted out when Nightfall goes live proper....just wait and see I guess.

The gate area in Lions arch is for Nightfall tomorrow. I'm thinking that you'll get the materials storage when Nightfall goes live. And the Halloween thing was supposed to start last night, but I'm thinking it won't start til Nightfall is up and running.

Same problem here, the guy now says I have all storage upgrades but I only have the one tab. Let's just hope ANet fixes this soon.

Good news!! This latest update has fixed my storage problem . LA is now halloween bedecked and white dye is 41K to buy at trader.....oh hold on I don't have any ....LOL night folks see you all in Kamadan this weekend. Cheers!!
