I heard about some people getting new runes. The priest of Balthazar has them as well in his menu.

Minor Vitae = +10 health
Minor (dunno whatsisname) = +2 energy

Seems to me they are STACKABLE, otherwise Vitae would be just the same as minor Vigor (+30), but less useless.

Can anyone confirm this?

vitae = 10hp
attunement = 2energy

stackable. u can find them in blue armors only as they are considered minor runes.
u can even use 5 attunement runes if u want. that would give u +10 energy, but probably the best use for them is SupVigor + minor of the attributes u use + 1 or 2 attunement runes depending on how many "free" armor pieces u have.

as soon as i drop them i'll go with

Sup Domination
Sup vigor
3x attunement

I popped into LA to check a few things this morning but the rune trader did NOT have any new runes, so maybe they're only drops?

rune traders have rune in stock only when someone sell them to rune traders...
as long as noone sells to them, rune traders will never have vitae and attunement in stock... always worked like this. new runes/ materials are impossible be found at traders for days

The rune trader only has runes that people have sold to him, you can find the new ones at the Priest of Balthazar and equip them on your PvP characters immediately. Other than that you have to hope for a drop or for enough people to sell them to the Rune trader, an exteremly unlikely prospect considering how good and rare they are at the moment.

Trader is sold out of them. Same with the new dyes. Must likely someone has already got them all trying to make a profit.

They will show up at the trader once people start selling them to the trader.

I couldn't find the runes at the rune trader but I did have a Rune of Vitae drop for me from an Am Fah in the Wajjun Bazaar. Thanks to that lovely salvage system I got to keep the cape the rune came off and it gave me a bolt of silk! Bonus!

Holy crap, I just saw someone in Droknar's trying to sell 5 vitae runes for 25K each! That's almost as much as a Sup Vigor!

The Vitea and Attunement runes aren't half as useful as the runes that reduce conditions. I'm getting my monk a rune that reduces Dazed, and maybe even one the reduces Crippled.

If you're letting dazed stay on you long enough that a duration reduction would matter, you have another problem.

The reduces blindness/reduces weakness is going to be very nice on a warrior.

The ones that reduce other conditions (dazed, crippled, Deep wound) will arguably be better than 10 measily helath.

Izzy was on IRC last night, basically saying that they're there to give you more rune options, to make a person think about how they're runing their character. It's a good thing.

Now, to kill some am-fah for my ele...

Definitly not, there are always situations where you actually let the Dazed wear off by time. Of course, it's not common, but still, when it happens you'd rather have it be a short time then a long time. The 10 health or 2 energy have less chance of saving you then this one.

Sry to be a grammer RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO, but to OP, dont you mean they are more useless if they are not stackable?

I've been wanting an energy rune for quite some time now, and am happy that they are finally availible.

Attunement Rune is a blessing for a nuker (or any single attribute ele). Before the only runes a nuker could use were Fire, Energy Storage, and Vigor, leaving 2 empty pieces of armor without runes. Now they have something usefull to add to them. An Ele can now max out with 115 energy.

I think these new runes will have more use for pvp than for pvp. Warriors won't have any space for them, so I think mainly casters benefit from their addition.

I also had a minor attunement rune drop today in Cantha. My armors are kind of set now, but if I pick up some new armor I'll use them then.

Explain to me why you would ever, ever let dazed wear off on its own.
