The new update patch... it doesn't just nerf farming, but it makes a lot of skills "useless". Say for instance, War's Glad defense... it used to be my favor skill, but now... what's the pt to use it??
It gotta be group farming in the future, i dun really hate that idea... but... dun Anet gotta do it fair? Seems like trapper dun get nerf... what do u think? If anet dun want solo farmer, that's fine, just sell weapons, mods... etc, cheap from merchant, soon no one will farm and i'm pretty sure no one will complain about it.
To me, nerf the skills dun really work to the market, it'll just make the price go higher and higher.... c'mon, the basic of economic, "demand and supply". Think about it, the market dun have the supply, so the demand will goes all the way up, the price will be.... can't u see that? they nerf skills, it makes farming harder, so harder to get rare weapons; less supply leads to higher price...
Should we all make a ranger and farm? or just face the truth that only 20% of the ppl in the world can get rich?
So trapper is the only way to make money????

Trappers got nerfed a long time ago. Just wait for the new fad to come out.

theoretically a good point, BUT: it's not true.. as the upgradesystem changed it will be MUCH easier to "build" weapons for your needs..
the point is, if you can, more or less, easily craft your weapons as needed you don't need to have greens.. the only aspect of your statement i agree with is the rare-skin story.. but as very very very view people will have enough money to afford 100k+ weapons their prices will also drop..

Guess Soon a new "Thing" will come out that everybody will be delighted to see. Anyway for all the Monks out there, im working on a build right now that wont be affected by the new update options. keep waiting it will come.

triple trapper run is still pretty doable, just make 3 rangers and use the multi-account problem in our forum to control 3 trappers. set up the traps and i am sure that you can't kill them
.. or controling 3 is too difficult for you, you can do 2 for 2 dual run<4 trappers> and split up the ectos
