Old dye vs new dye

I know that there is a new dye system but i wasnt able to figure out what has been changed. My mule is holding my dyes in case i want to dye new armor. Today, after the update, i received a new yellow dye (but this dye looked more orange than yellow )... Anyway i tried to put this yellow dye together with the yellow dyes my mule is holding, but i can't (it is like gw seems them as different dyes)

Does someone know if the new yellow dye is different than the old yellow dye?

Same problem for me with 2 silvers I got today. My theory is that Anet have decided to make them non stacking, to stop hording? I hope not....I am scared to go to my character that has 170 odd dyes!!!

What do the dyes your mule has look like? Old or new look? I have several dyes, and the ones in my inventory all now have the new look.

All dyes have been updated with the new graphics, but dyes previously owned do not stack with the newly purchased or dropped dyes.

So the only difference is that they dont stack with eachother?? What sense does that make? This is unbelievable

PS: Yes, the old dyes have the new skin, but the new yellow dye has a darker skin than the old yellow dyes... gg

Great or what? New dyes that don't stack with the previous dyes and still no word on any upgrade to storage.

It would be nice to see an official word on whether the stacking problem will be addressed or if all our old dye needs to be used or dumped.

It has happened before, for example when they renamed "Enchanted Lodestones" to "Scorched Lodestones". I hope ANet fix it this time, because this time it affects 6 or 7 slots in my storage.
