do you ever feel like your account is jynxed?

this isn't a complaint, I am doing this to make me feel better about playing the game and not leave instead of having bad luck.

1. Every guild I've ever joined later disbands or loses members.
2. I never get drops, on the gold drop event, I didn't get anything.. also, I got no golds on the elite mission weekend, and when farming with a friend who got loads of rune drops ettin farming once, after 3 runs, we got no drops.
3.Straight after I spent 25k on a 55 necro and loads of hours.. he gets nerfed.

Anyone feel this way? lol

I'm starting to feel the same,

my first guild scammed me my first 3 K (which left me with only 11 gold and no armor, I've only made it back to the game with the help of exile of heaven and shadow girl ) the second guild disbanded because our leader started an other guild and the guy who had gotten the charge kicked everyone out of the guild and my current guild is on the verge of collapse (exile of heaven allready left the guild )

I DO get drops, but in comparison with others their just lame (offcourse there are some exceptions )

And yes, the farming which i only did when i was low on money (around 10K) was also nerfed to the bone.....



but allas, i still have my friends in the guildwars world, and i'm making the best of it

hmm what you just said about friends reminds me of this laugh I had on the game.

before I joined this new guild
I met this person in an event
really fun event
then we add eachother to friends list
I joined a new guild recently
and I was playing, he said hi and we were talking for a while
I carried on playing
then in the guild chat, someone said "how's it going zekk"
and I said "erm... hello zekk"
he says "omg we're in the same guild xDDD"
lol that was so funny
oh, zekk is the person I met on the event

That's indeed very funny

only time I feel jinxed is when I do missions in factions and at the end of a completed mission (say vizunah or tahnaki) I have only 2 soul stones (or the 6 putrid cysts) to show for it.....no other drops the WHOLE mission (and no henchies with either)...but thats just the <bad> luck of the draw....and I usually draw that spot.......then I go back to prophecy and kill everything in ascalon and feel better.

Well ive never been in a guild,dont recieve enough gold drops to make it worth mentioning,and dont geel Jynxed at all.

Reason?I just dont care,i dont want good drops and dont want a guild,the problem is that its likely that most guilds have a incompetent leader,i can tell by looking at the recruitement message alone,this just makes the chance high that the guild youre in will collapse.

And about the good drops:I suppose the reason they are deemed good (= better then average) is also because they dont drop very often,otherwise everyone would have one like that without spending much effort on obtaining it and it wouldnt be deemed good but average right?(Note:Thats logic,i dont know if logic applies here.) So i suppose it cant be blamed on bad luck either.

And scams most certainly dont fall in the category bad luck,it falls in the category trust,in this case its likely you trusted someone a bit to much,highly likely since i dont trust anyone,not even my closest friends,and as such i have not been scammed once in a online gaming time of about 5 years.


The one thing that might be bad luck would be the nerfs the OP talked about,but i have to ask,as i am a person who dousnt have a necromancer:Was the nerf needed?If so its not bad luck,someone at A-net just got smart(er).
