Screamers go home (or to your own forum)

There should be a forum just for the screamers. While this might fall under Guru's flaming rules, I had to say it.

You know, the posters who just want to yell how the game is ruined and they are leaving it, or will never buy another chapter, how ANet is just out to make money (I thought that was the purpose of a business). Nothing constructive to say; no explanation of why they dislike the newest change or suggestions to fix it, just ranting.

It's very disruptive to be reading a thread with people posting reasons for liking or disliking aspects of the latest upgrade -- some are humorous, some have you either nodding or shaking your head, but all are relevant to the thread and encourage you to join the discussion -- then suddenly the ranters show up. First one or two, then a swarm of them. Posting nothing but euphemisms for curse words and raging about ANet being out to get them.

I have some sympathy for them as I understand that they need psychiatric help, but the result is I stop reading the thread. So, I thought if they had their own forum where they could talk to like-minded forum members, it would leave the rest of us to enjoy the other forums. (Of course, if they posted in other forums, a moderator would have to move their message. But that would make them happy because they would have something else to complain about.)

i hate to tell you this but its both sides of the fence that whine. i know a few do it only to get threads shut down. but this is a flame thread and yes i see it being shut down as such soon.

now there has been given lots of reasons why some of these changes were bad. not just for the farmers and that.

a major update should hear from all sides so that Anet gets the feedback it needs.

The people that don't want to hear negative comments should get Anet to give us a forum so people can vent. They direct ALL people to sites like this so blame THEM.

People will complain and some will go about it the wrong way..welcome to the forum.

This thread will only invite flames and trolls.

I don't let someone's little hissy-fit on these forums bother me. It's not my problem. Every time there's a major update that shakes up the status quo, people have strong reactions. Yes, it detracts from the general discussion and serves no useful purpose, but there are over 100,000 people who use these forums so some degree of the ranting is to be expected.

Bottom line: Some people can handle changes better than others. Nothing new.

Well, well... it started with a troll and a flamebait, so what can you expect? There really is nothing do discuss in here and it's probably just because the moderators have to work overtime currently due to the update that this is still open.

Try to make to make a decent thread instead of this crap.

Why start another thread just to complain about people complaining?
