Hi,
I've been PvEing for about three hours now, and every fight has involved practically all damage being directed at my two tanks. At one point, I accidentally pulled three spawns (I was running around the Jade Sea), but because all aggro was directed at my two tanks, Guardian + Prot Spirit and the occasional Life Barrier was enough to handle all of it.
Not really sure what's up.
At the moment, I'm heading to Boreas Seabed to capture Life Barrier. After that, I'm going to test out how stable that is on the new tanking situation, or if I should simply work with Healing Hands/Healing Seed.
Is this how it's going to be from now on, or is this a bug?
Monster AI Nerf?

I was helping a friend out in the Traveler's Vale region, the lone level 20 in a party of 8's and 9's... and the monsters all swarmed on me. The other party members were hench, and the only other human player didn't have max armour, while I did.
I thought it was bizarre. They used to go for the lowest AL char.

My experience today was nearly identical to the OP's.
In the past, whenever I'd take henchies out, my warriors would get approximately half of the aggro while several melee types would invariably head straight for me or another of my backline henchies (I'm monking).
Today, all aggro stayed glued to my tanks, leaving the backline totally free. I hardly did anything but wand at the baddies, it was so easy. Even when the mobs would scatter from the new AI update, they didn't come after the backline. They just hung out until they'd healed, then headed back to the warrior henchies.
I'd kinda like to see things go back to the way they were. This is so easy it's pathetic, and I'm not a particularly skilled player.

yup, pve is so broken now.
all they do is aggro on the warriors, and stick to them like glue. basically anyone can aggro 3 mobs from 3 differenty directions and they'll all make a beeline straight for the warrior. as long as the monk can keep the war up, just sit back, relax and nuke.
it's funny, i see the aggro scatter the solo farmers are talking about but in a group they're no danger, because they just run away then right back to the war, not bothering to touch any of the squishies
it's obscene

Yup, it's the same way in uw. We tried with a stance tank and they all held on him like glue (like they used to with the 55). But take a 55 down there and they attack like 3 times then just stand there. Same thing with troll farming too, take a 55 monk and they run for the hills, take a tank and they stay on it for the most part.

FIX THIS, ANET.
PvE is beyond ridiculously easy now. I can just run into the middle of stupidly large groups and know that Koss, Devona and that brawler guy will soak up all the damage. Make Dunkoro into a barrier/bond and it's all you'll need. Don't even need a real healer.
This is completely and utterly broken.

Im already sick of the AI nerf... I tried to farm for a white dye at the minotars outsdie of Ice Caves and I hit them once with Whirling Axe and they all scattered...Took me about 20 mins to kill all the minos (about 25) that I aggrod >.< I realize they mostly made this nerf for the bots (or I have heard) But I mean come on... They didn't do much damage did they? They made people in the game rich...But what fun is a game if its FLAWLESS and it takes hours to farm with a solo char. I prefer solo becuase I'm not the lucky type that gets gold drops all the time in a group...Actually I NEVER get anything good...Tops a purple...Anyways soloing was the only way I made money...I would rather them take the nerf off...-_-
Yeah I know some people may think differently, but please dont flame me over it...

The following behaviour of casters is certainly buggy. A few ice golems keep running after a runner who uses Storm Chaser (25% speed boost) and Dodge (33% speed boost) without losing the distance, and they manage to successfully cast their Ice Tridents from a distance of 2 aggro circles away.
This is a bug, and it should be fixed.
