CE Signature Dances

Decided to go for the CE for the first time with this one... sadly, a slighty varied "dance on speed" is not nearly as distinct or "signature" as the divine aura or the backup dancers. Left me a little

And the minipet looks like a little female mesmer.. meh

Hopefully the game itself will be more interesting.

.. this being my third CE, can't help but feel a little dissapointed, as do the rest of my guildmates who have had a chance to sample it.

There's no denying it's interesting, but it's certainly something I wouldn't have invested money on, had I known about it from the start, even moreso when it stretches across all four characters (male/female paragon/dervish) with very little--if any--variation.

Sad.

The dance is fairly boring but the rest of the content is amazing! Are you honestly shelling out the extra cash just for the dance? Wow.

I have bought my CE but have not yet opened it yet and i am sad to hear they did not add anything noticeable to the dance emotes that they might have attended to. I am hoping Anet may do something and hopefully put a bit of a kick into the dance moves .

Lots of people including myself made threads & posts just like this one about how disappointing the Divine Aura was. Yet Anet never did anything to make Divine Aura better. If they make the dances better they should make Divine Aura better too.

In any case after the Divine Aura letdown that was the last CE I'll be buying. Sorry that others also have to find out the hard way not to buy CE's. At least it's only 20 bucks more this time instead of ~50 bucks more (depending on your country) like it was for the original Guild Wars CE.

im dissipointed with the dance yes...but i got the CE so i could sell the mini pet and get the artbook so im still happy with it overall....

their awfully NOT a signature i would remember watching.... a bunch of spaz attacks on all of the characters.... male and female are so lame.

and no effects whats up with that? no one expected factions backup dancers only for assassin and rit to kick the shit out of paragon and dervish and BOTH SEXES mind u.... damn. gg.

Omg...This is the first CE i've bought, I haven't even got it yet (didnt come ontime) but I was expecting something a bit special =(

I liked the Previous Special dances and from what I've read the CE nightfall dance seems no better than the normal one. I'm not really too bothered about the Varesh pet...so In-game wise...Waste of money, then.

Shame..Most people seem to have an issue with it maybe they'd alter it in someway make it more unique?

I am VERY disappointed ! There is nothing signature about it.... soooo lame! ANET i hope you really read the forums like you say you do on that DVD that came with CE... Because this is a joke... A 20 dollar more joke... DONT BUY CE! NOT WORTH IT!

I was hoping that one of the Devs (Gaile/Alex/anyone else who reads fan forums) could give the community some insight on the CE dances. I am reading so many topics about how people are angry that they even bought the CE(going a bit to far if you ask me). Some say the dance is broken, others say it just stinks, and some even like it. So, I guess the community would just like an explaination on the dances if at all possible. Thanks.

Did Anet forgot to put the new dances correctly or what? Gaile ? Weekes?

Because... the /dancenew from nightfall, its not special, and its more ugly than the normal one.

I wouldn't want backup dancers, that was already done in Factions. I was expecting something equally as cool with something that REALLY set you apart from the others.

I'm rather disappointed too. The first time I saw the backup dancers i called my buddy & told him about it since we had both started playing & I finally found out what it was from a wiki.....I just started 2 months ago & I dind't know about the CE's or I would have found a CE for factions...this one just flat sucks. I preordered this game over a month in advance & really feel that they cheated us.

Ok, it did come with a decent amount of stuff in the box, but first of all, what's with the map? It sucks. It's more of a poster than a map, at least make it where you can navigate & find stuff with it, otherwise it's pointless unless you just use it as a poster to cover you wall.

The mini-pet is nothing spectacular, but I don't care so much about that as long as it's part of the story line, I can accept that. Albeit that I would like to see something cool like a flaming sword like the mini Rurik had...the new one could use a little flair, but what ever.....most people are in game way more than they are sitting there thumbing thru the artwork or watching the dvd....the dance is probably by far the one thing that MOST people expected to be something that set us apart from the casual players...we went above & beyond to spend more to set us apart from the others & I just don't think this delivered.

does the /dancenew work for any character as long as you have a nightfall key attached to your account? or does it work for only new characters created in nightfall?

oh and can anyone post a screen of the special dance?
