Getting rid of Heroes pets

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has figured out how to get rid of heroes pets?
Iv tried talking to Nehdukah outside Sunspear Great Hall but have had no luck.
Any ideas?

Dont equip charm animal?

Maybe NOT equip Pet skills on your hero?

Haven't had a ranger Hero yet, so can't confirm it, but that looks like the way to go, right?

if you dont want them to have a pet atall just remove the skill charm animal from their skill bar, other then that I dont know yet...

During the preview heroes could charm multiple pets. Perhaps the only broken part of that was not removing the old pet. Maybe for heroes you just charm a new one without having to turn the old one over to a tamer first.

during the preview zoning made u lose hero pets hope they fixed that.

I think he means getting rid of a pet completely so the hero can charm a different one.

Yeah sorry I mean getting rid of the pet so that I can go and charm him a different one.
I tried just clicking charm again on a different animal but no luck at all either :S
Has anyone made any progress on this sort of thing?

I've got the same problem, looks like anet didn't make any way to change hero pets

I came here to ask this question too. Glad someone else beat me to it. I gave Zenmai a Black Moa so she could have a level 20 right off the bat, but now I want to give her a croc. All my other heroes have crocs now. Love those little beauties.

By the way, do crocs rule or what!

Oh, another thing -- how do you change the names of your heroes' pets?

Huh a couple good questions here due to the indirect control of heroes -

How do effectively free up the pet slot on a particular hero
How do you name a pet associated with a particular hero

Obviously players have the pet tamer and /petname, not sure the above is in game?

I hope there is an answer to this soon, although i suspect that since gayle and andrrew have both been on since this thread was posted there isn't an answer to give lol
