There's something called the "Realm of Torment" which based on the previews is sufficiently hellish. Dunno much about it, tho.

The forgotten guardian in the arid sea takes you to an area called the crystal overlook.

You can get a quest in the overlook which takes u back to arid sea,where u have to kill kepketh marrowclaw.

Yea i just did this myself. I already have the worms so i explored.

I found a quest in there where a wife wanted to find her dead husband, you tehn ahve to go back to the arid sea find his bones, and then search the crystal desert for the rest of the family

That's not in Elona, you can reach it in the Desert. As you get closer to it it crumbles.

I found a quest item in that area right next to this strange looking lamp thing similar to the one used by the Charr in pre searing. Zehtuka's Great Horn. The guy outside the Sunspear place talking about the Black Moa mentions Zehtuka as the best Beastmaster.

I'm really lost on what to do with it.

Also, considering one of the ghosts in the Arid sea, just before the Forgotten that gives you the reward for the first 15 attribute quest talks about his people building great weapons of destruction, that ancient weapon you can pick up to the west of the area, I'd say it was connected with what the Charr done to Ascalon, the weapon they used being Elonian as I found the exact thing in the Desolation.

Sekkira, there's an NPC called 'The Great Zehtuka' in Jahai Bluffs. Go into Turai's Procession and then take the portal in the far southeast corner. Then head along the northern edge of the Jahai Bluffs area, you'll find him next to a pack of aggressive lions (well I did anyway). Perhaps he'll want that item.

About the portal, I reckon it'll have use in the future as a land link between Tyria and Elona, maybe in a future chapter there will be something that requires you to go from one to the other via this portal.

Just to add more to this...

My Tyrian character, with a linked Nightfall account, CANNOT get access to the portal from the Arid Sea.

I suspect you need to follow in the footsteps of Paul Atreides before you can start using it from the Tyrian side.

I suspect you need to be Tyrian ascended to use the portal on the OTHER side.

Soooo...

This stuff is most likely only for those with Prophecies and Nightfall AND has completed both.
