* Prophecies characters wishing to travel to Elona for the first time should seek out Lionguard Figo in Lion’s Arch and take the "Sunspears in Kryta" quest.

* Factions characters wishing to travel to Elona for the first time should seek out Imperial Guardsman Linro in Kaineng Center and take the "Sunspears in Cantha" quest.

* Elonian characters may travel to Tyria using the quest "Terror in Tyria," which is offered by Deras Tenderlin in Kamadan – The Jewel of Istan after they have completed the quest “The Time is Nigh.”

* Elonian characters may travel to Cantha using the quest “Plague in Cantha," which is offered by Funwa Shento in Kamadan – The Jewel of Istan after they have completed the quest “The Time is Nigh.”

Ok, I seemed to have done the quest to go to Tyria, so that I can travel there, but I can't seem to get there. I have done the quest "The Time is Nigh." Also I can not get the Quest for traveling to Cantha.

Hm, finished the time is nigh quest, allready on the mainland but when I enter the consulate, no one's there except Hannah and Elder Suhl.

Anyone have any idea? I'm not using henchies or heroes.

I thought one can travel from Crystal Overlook to Crystal Desert? There's a forgotten NPC there blocking the portal when I tried it. (my char is a canthan one without Tyria desert towns).
Has anyone been successful ?

Has anyone been successful ? It only works if you have been through both games, if not the npc wont permit you to teleport since you are not familiar with the area

Elonians,
after you complete Time is Nigh and have access to the mission outpost, Consulate Docks

there will be 2 quest NPCs for you at the Kamadan Docks

least they were there for me..

There is another possibility to reach tyria from elona.. look at the picture..

This portal can be found in the north-western part of the crystal overlook.

The quest to be allowed to travel is a bit in the east of the portal.

alright well i have beaten prophecies and have nightfall added to my account, but im only on the 5th mision or so. so when does it allow me to get from tyria to elona? do i have to beat BOTH games?

You must finish Blacktide Den then follow a few primaries to get 'time is nigh'.

another bugged quest

i've finished NF with my derv already, and ofc with a proph/factions/nf account
still cant travel to cryst desert from overlook

hope they'll fix it soon :S

btw Tyria is so close

I could travel to tyria with this portal by doing the family soul quest. I had no problems at all. I did it with my tyria char.

Hmm I assumed that I can get my Dervish to Lions Arch after a certain point, then I can do the quest from Lions to go to Cantha. The one we all did to get our Tyrian characters to Cantha.

The same guy that gives the quest to get to tyria gives another quest to get to cantha

To get anywhere (Cantha/Tyria) from Elonia, you need to talk to Menhlo..he's at the Consulate DOCKS!!! the arrow is pointing to the Consulate...where you won't find him..you'll need to MAP to the Consulate Docks (after you've finished the mission that is).

If your Tyria (Prophecies) character has traveled to Elona by taking the boat from Lion's Arch (by doing the Sunspears in Kryta quest), it is not clear how to get back to Tyria. But you don't have to go through half of Nightfall to do the Family Soul quest in the Crystal Overlook.

After you have done the quest to go from Tyria to Elona, a much easier way to travel back and forth is to;
- select "Map Travel"
- select the ship on the map
This will allow you to travel to Lion's Arch or Kamadan.

imho at least, BB ;-)
