Inscriptions Question

Ok, either it's nowhere to be found, or I'm stupid, or I just didn't read all update notes (most likely). Can the inscriptions be added to tiryan and canthan weapons or they can be added to Elonian only? Also, I read that inscriptions are only dropped from monsters in Elona, does that mean it can't be dropped from a chest? I really appreciate any help on this subject. Thank you very much in advance

You can only place an inscription in a weapon if that weapon has a blank inscription slot. Inscriptions and inscription slots are sometimes found on rare weapons dropped by monsters in Elona.
