Tyrian dye not equals Elona dye?

I found a strange issue with my dye collection. I used to collect lots of dye in Tyria and Cantha and store it in my storage. Now I got a drop of orange and purple in Elona, but for some reason I can't add them to my previously collected dyes, so now I have to start a new stack which takes more space in my storage

Is it a bug?

I had the same problem but they fixed it with an update. They are stackable now

Are you sure, this just happened to me within the last couple of hours, and I haven't seen an update since I logged on this morning.

I can confirm that, as I initially wasn't able to stack old and new dyes, but now I can and have.

otherwise we'll have to spend 2ce as much inv slots on dye collections or merch the old dyes...........

No they haven't fixed it!

Not two minutes ago I tried to add two newly acquired red & purple dyes from Elona to my stacks of red & purple dyes in Storage. They wouldn't stack, they just kept switching places. So I'd end up with the new purple in storage and a stack of 21 in my inventory and visa versa.

hubby got his to stack....he is the dye man, so hopefully everyone will get the fix soon.

If it was fixed then the 3 blue dyes from today would be staked with the 24 vials of blue dye I have.

Just checked it now and i still can't stack... Maybe problem is only for certain colours. I can't stack purple and orange

Kinda off topic, but I also cant stack my imperial Commendations. I got all of them off one character and put them in storage with all the other ones, and it wouldnt stack....wtf?

Only dyes I've gotten since the update have been brown so I cant check the dye stacking.

Just got a blue dye drop and it will not stack with the other 50 I have.

5 minutes ago, my 3 brown dyes refuszed to stack... & I got them all since Nightfall (obviously). 2 would stack, but the 3rd refused.

I have a problem with stacking the factions Equiptment reqisitions and the imperal commondations i got from doing quests today

The same sort of thing has happened before, way back in the early days of Prophecies - some new items wouldn't stack with older ones. Some change on a programming/properties level made them appear to be different to storage.
In this case I assume that ANY new dye, wherever it's from (even new dye from Prophecies or Factions) won't stack with old dye.
One costly way around it would be to sell all your old dyes and buy new ones. Otherwise, just use up the old dyes first.

I'm sorry but we shouldn't have to. Canthan dye stacks with Tyrian dye without a problem. Just because they've altered the graphical image of dye for Elona shouldn't mean they don't stack. Anyway, existing Tyrian and Canthan gained dyes all look the same as the new Elonian drops, so why can't they make them stack?

Dyes still don't stack for me. I have orange, green and blue that still won't.
