Anybody else getting their *#$@ kicked with mission to Elona from Cantha?

I thought "hey, this will be as easy as the transition of chars from Tyria to Cantha". I was a bit off. I have gotten my ..... pride .... handed to me on more than one attempt to get my older chars to Nightfall. Anyone else?

No, did it first time with my Tyrian born W/Me. Just take out the Wrathful Storm's first so you don't get hit by their Meteor Storm. Or interupt them, whichever takes your fancy.

I did the quests with 8 of my PvE characters. Zero problems.

I took my warrior into the Tyria one and had thrown in the L10 Alesia Thom and Orion for a laugh. When I saw who we had as oppostion I thought I was in for a struggle, and when I realised my build was a "chest run" set-up (sprints and illusion of weakness etc - 2 in sword skill and only attack was sever artery) I realised I WAS IN TROUBLE

Never one to shirk a challenge though, I took to it with a will and my utter amazement I managed to pull it off. I possibly set a world record for how long it takes to complete that mission - bleeding L20+ monsters to death is not done quickly.

It's a bit of challenge for anyone unprepared for lvl 24-28 monsters.

Yeah same here... I was expecting a simple travel from Cantha to Elona as well, and found myself and my new assasin hero facing an army of high lvl monsters... ouch! . On second try it was easy though.

I solo'd it with my assassin...

How do u get to elona?

Talk to Guardsman Linro in Kaineng.

HE will give you a quest and you will have to fight Grasps and Phantoms.

Some advice for those who are reading, TAKE OUT THE STORM Phantoms FIRST. They know [skill]Fire Storm[/skill] [skill]Meteor Shower[/skill] [skill]Double Dragon[/skill] [skill]Mark of Rodgort[/skill]

They are NOT to be played around with...unless you are a Mesmer.

Soloed that with my assassin. But I understand it may be a bit tricky for those less ninjaish. Fortunately you can use henchies and rarely need to fight more than 1 opponent.
