Heroes question

Sorry if this has been addressed. I've looked through a few pages and done a search but couldn't find an answer.

Are you able to take heroes from Elona back into Cantha and Tyria with you and still have them level with you there?

Or is it that once you install nightfall all henchmen game-wide become heroes?

Or is it none of the above?

Yes heroes come along (if you have chapters linked).

Heroes... an absolute brilliant addition to this game! I don't know if everyone has had alot of time to play with customizing them (even down to the wire of making them cast certain spells on enemies/yourself)

hmm... only thing that is bad is that your hero (i.e. Koss), goes with your character and not with your account. So you'll have to level up each hero for every character you have

I posted this question in another thread, and the answer is confirmed as it is here. Heroes are a great addition to the game. I'm getting my sin some heroes so I can hopefully actually make it through the Faction missions - anybody else tired of spamming "Sin lfg" for hours on end?

I like the fact that we can customize the heroes to match any character on our account, now I can have my characters group with one another in spirit if not in form!!
