I hear people complaining about an Anti-farm update, but I couldn't find anywere information about it, so I just loaded GW and went farming with my Ritualist.
When I was in the Crystal Desert as usual farming those stupid animals there, I noticed that when using Vengefull was Khankei, some enemies scattered away once in a while. I was like, O_o? this happened never before, so I continued and yes it seamed that 3/10 times enemies scatter away from this Elite skill when using it in combination with Vengefull Weapons. So I thought could this be a part of the anti-farm update everyone is talking about.
So I went to UW and took the first quest there to fight those kraken like enemies before going smite farm, and I saw something I really didn't liked. As soon I take the quest, 2 nightmares spawn just on the edge of your area circle when you talk to that person for the quest. So what happens is that running around to get rid of them won't work because they seam to remove the Illusion of Haste skill or at least shorten it in time, I don't know but as soon I activate it, it's directly gone. So harder to finish that quest and go smite farm.
Also I joined FoW and saw that running past the groups of enemies is now a pain in the ass. The ele's seem to hurt you a lot with some fire damage which slows you down and makes impossible to run away as you could to before the 'update'.
My question is, did everyone else notice this kind of strange things, and could it be that Rit/mes farmer is now history? Maybe I'm a bad farmer or gw player, but I could do these things easely before and now it spend 10k for nothing then just waste it and get killed in less then 10 sec afther moving around.
Anti-Farm update? End of Vengefull farmer?

Honestly, I can tell you havent UW farmed much with your VwK, To take care of dying nightmares, dont cast enchantments, dont run away, just use vengeful weapon. These monsters only have about 100 health and are competely useless unless you have enchantments (the only skill they have is rend enchantments). As for farming everything else, just do like normal, except instead of taking 3 groups of smites just take one at a time. There should only be a max of 5 smites in a group. 3 VwK's should eliminate them all (as opposed to the old 2 casts). I still UW farm with my Rt/Me.
yo home boi
Yep, Dahnel ur build still works man u just need to think a lil more and yes i still solo smite runs but wit the update there is a group of smites which i cant kill but np really ^^. Now Dahnel i think its time for a new build m8.

Eh? I don't know what Fire Eles your talking about but the 1 thing Fire Magic lacks is a skill to slow movement speed. Skeleton Icehands however have become alot more annoying... for some reason they break agro of the Shadows and start attacking you whenever you try to run past, its pissing me off, this AI is suppose to be improved to be more 'realistic', not anti-farm.

Actually the nightmares are a problem, since when they come up you're also in range of those Bladed Aatex and they run down the stairs quite fast and running is useless because the nightmares stop you. :P
But maybe I'm just inexperienced, I need to practise a lot more.

I have soloed UW with this build alot already and I dont find the nightmares to be a big issue. Most of the time if one pops up and the aatex come with them, get an illusion of haste on, run away and take out the dying with vengeful weapon...not that hard at all.
